  1. How do I activate IR?

    Service Centre.

  2. Are all international call charges to anywhere in the world the same?

    No. Different charges apply for different roaming operators.

  3. Are there any Peak/Off-Peak hours to make an international call and how will I be charged?

    Yes and charges would vary for peak and off-peak hours according to roaming partner’s charges.

  4. How am I being charged for international Roaming calls?

    Roaming Incoming calls
    You will be charged for international leg from Malaysia to the country where you roam + Standard Airtime of respective roaming operator (if any).
    Roaming Outgoing calls
    You will be charged for Standard Airtime of respective roaming operator + Roaming surcharge Note: Value Added Tax (VAT) apply in some countries.

  5. How am I charged if both parties are roaming in the same country?

    Refer answer in Question 4.

  6. Will the international calls be billed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM)?

    All calls made will be charged in foreign currency, however, the call charges will be converted to Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and billed to your account accordingly.

  7. Are there any differences in international call charges between postpaid and prepaid subscribers?

    Yes but currently international roaming service for prepaid subscriber is not available yet.

  8. If I am a postpaid subscriber, is there a minimum credit limit required in order to make or receive calls while roaming?

    Yes, this will depend on the Rate Plan that you have subscribed for. However you are advised to settle your outstanding bill before you travel in order to avoid any interruption on your mobile line.

  9. Can I make calls to any countries while roaming?

    Yes, you will be able to call foreign countries based on the IDD service of the network you are roaming on.

  10. How do I send SMS while I'm roaming?

    There is no difference in sending SMS and making calls, just follow the simple steps below:

    Step 1: Insert "+"
    Step 2: Followed by the Country Code
    Step 3: Lastly the area code and the mobile number.

  11. How do I access to my voice mail while I'm roaming?

    Subscribers are required to dial : +6018 388 1311

  12. Will I be charged for retrieving my Voicemail?

    Yes.

  13. Is there any password required to retrieve my voice mail while roaming?

    This will depend on how your voicemail is setup.

  14. Can I see the number of my caller on my mobile screen when I am roaming?

    This subject to network operator of respective countries.

  15. Who do I call in case of emergency such as a lost SIM card, lost phone & etc.?

    The subscriber is advised to contact the Customer Contact center at +6018 388 1318 from other phones.
