  2. In accordance with industry practice, postpaid Broadband subscribers will be charged for a month of Advance Access Fee from Jan 2012 onwards.

  4. The Advance Charging will applied to all the new and existing subscribers (UB20, UB40, UB68, MB40, MB68, MB128) of postpaid broadband

  5. Does this applicable for UB/MB add-on to postpaid voice plan also or just on UBSIM data plan only?
  6. This is only applicable to the UB USIM data plan only

  7. Is Advance Access Fee equivalent to deposit?
  8. No. Advance Access Fee is the service fee collected before you use the service. In the past, U Mobile only collect the subscription fee from customer at the end of the month, from January 2012 bill onwards, U Mobile will collect the subscription fee upfront.

  9. What is the difference between Advance Access Fee and activation fee?
  10. Activation fee is for the activation of the line while Advance Access Fee if the upfront service fee being charged to your account for your first month bill

  11. Why do you impose the advance charging and why should I pay for something that I have not use?
  12. This is an industry practises advance charging where you pay before using the service

  13. Termination reminder*
  14. Subscribers are advised to perform termination request at month end to fully utilize their data subscription.

  15. After Termination – Last Month Bill
  16. Subscribers are to wait for the next month bill (upon termination) before they start to remit their balance outstanding payment (if there is any)
