New Prepaid Plan (New)

The Deactive Period is a grace period granted to subscriber’s who plan has been deactivated due to not topping up. During your account’s Deactive Period, you will not be able to make calls, send SMS or browse the internet, but you can receive incoming call and SMS. To be able to make calls and send SMS, please perform a top up. To avoid service cancellation, please top up before the end of the Deactive Period.

The change will start on 1 April 2014.

All prepaid plans will be impacted, including U Prepaid Plans, New U Prepaid Plans, Mobile Broadband Prepaid Plans & Prepaid iPlans.

For customers who are currently in a Deactive status but not exceeding 60 days by 1 April 2014, the line will be barred (no outgoing transaction or internet allowed) as per the current lifecycle. 

For customers who are currently in a Deactive status exceeding 60 days by 1 April 2014, the line will be terminated as per the current lifecycle. Please perform a top up to avoid service interruption.

If your account is inactive or has expired, you will not be able to use U Broadband. Do ensure that your account remains active.

Your free calls validity will follow the longest validity. If the top up amount is greater than the remaining days, then the new expiry is the current date plus the top up amount. Otherwise, there will be no change in expiry date.

For example, if you top up RM30 on Day 1 and you make another top up of RM10 on day 15, your free calls validity will still be until day 30 and not day 45. However, if you make a RM30 recharge on Day 1 and make another recharge of RM10 on day 25, then your free calls validity will be until day 35.

Every RM1 reload gives you 1-day of free calls. If you top up RM10, you will get 10 free call days from the day you reload your account.

The maximum number of free call days is capped at 150 days.

Calls are charged at 10 Sen per 30 seconds while SMS are charged at 3 Sen per SMS within the U Mobile network and 8 Sen per SMS to other local operators.

The credit validity is 2x the value of your top up amount. For example: if you top up RM10, your credit validity is 20 days.
