What is Surf with U (without modem)?

Surf with U is an unlimited high speed mobile broadband package offered to the mass market without a modem. It is offered to the mass market in the Klang Valley only. |

Who can subscribe to the Surf with U (without modem)?

This plan is open to all eligible Malaysian and foreigners. |

Do I have to pay for any monthly charges?

Yes, there is a monthly fee charge of RM68. However we are offering RM58 per month subscription until end of 2008. |

Where can I subscribe to the Surf with U (without modem)?

You can walk in to any of our U Mobile Service Centres to enquire and subscribe to the Surf with U (without modem). |

What is your Surf with U (without modem) service connection speed?
|

You are able to surf up to 3.6 Mbps transfer rate. However, the actual transfer rate shall be dependent on the location you are surfing in, device used and service congestion. |

What is the usage limit for this mobile data package?

Surf with U (without modem) offers you unlimited usage, however to curb abuse to the service and network congestion, each subscriber is allowed to use up to 5G per month according to bill statement date. |

Will I still be charged if I don’t use the service?

Yes, you will still be charged a monthly fee charge even if you are not using the service as this is an unlimited data service package. |

Can I use the data service via my mobile phone?

Yes, you can however it is phone dependent. The data service is recommended to use on USB HSDPA modems. |

9.

In the event my SIM card lost or stolen, will I incur any charges to replace a new SIM card?

Yes, you will be charged RM 20 per SIM card replacement. |

Do I get to replace my data SIM card if it is found faulty? Are there any charges required?

Yes, you can get your SIM replaced with no charges. |
