Selection of Winners

The promotion is open to all U Mobile subscribers

The subscription to G-ROOM is RM4 / week. The renewal will also be RM4 / week, unless stopped.

Each subscriber is entitled to win one redemption item throughout the promotion period.

The prizes are not transferable, or exchangeable for cash or credit.

Winners of the promotion will be notified via phone. The prizes can be redeemed at:

55100 Kuala Lumpur.

The winner’s MSISDN must be active at time of notification on the prize collection.

All prizes must be collected within 15 days after being notified. Collection of prizes is the sole responsibility of each winner. If for any reason a winner does not collect the prize at the time stated then that prize will be forfeited by U Mobile and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that prize.

U Mobile may terminate the promo at any time and may at its discretion elect not to award any prize.

1. General

• What are the keywords to The G-Room service?

To subscribe, send ON GLU to 28118

• If I am not a G-Room member, can I still purchase content from the Glu Portal?

Yes you may still purchase the games at normal price, but you would not enjoy the benefits and discounts for The G-Room subscribers.

• What do I get as a G-room member?

You will get to enjoy all the perks and benefits in the G-room such as profiles, notifications, forums, messages, friends request, friends list, content redemption, and discounts.

• I am now a subscriber of the G-Room, how come there are no profiling, forums, friends list and messaging in it?

We are launching all features of The G-Room in stages. For the moment, we have only activated the content redemption and discounted content features. We will notify you as we release each new feature and function of The G-Room in the near future.

2. Fees / Subscription

• What is the charge for The G-Room subscription?

RM4/week which will translate into 40 G-credit that allow subscribers to redeem games or non-gaming content.

• What happens if I don’t or cannot renew my subscription?

When you cannot renew, your account will be suspended. You will not be able to enjoy any of The G-Room’s privileges and benefits.

3. G-Credits

• What is G-Credit or (GC)?

40 G-Credits are given to all subscribers to The G-Room every time you have successfully subscribed to The G-Room Service. G-Credits or (GC) enables all G-Room members to Glu content (games, ringtones, wallpaper and themes) at a discounted rate.

• How much discounts do I get?

You can get up to 50% discount from the normal rate.

• Can I redeem mixed content using my G-credit?

Yes you may. With 40 G-credit rewarded to you every week, you may either redeem:
One (1) pre-selected game; or
One (1) wallpaper + one (1) ringtone; or
Two (2) wallpapers; or
Two (2) ringtones

• What if I decide not to redeem any of my G-credits and accumulate them?

The 40 G-credits that you received upon every subscription has an expiry period of 8 weeks from the day you receive it.
You can accumulate up to maximum of 320 G-credit (i.e. max of 8 subscription renewals). On the 9th renewal, your G-credit for the 1st week will expire.

• How does that work?

Basically, you might have accumulated 320 credits after 8 subscription renewals (the maximum GC you can accumulate if you have never redeem anything from day one). On the 9th renewal, you will still have 320 credits because any unused credits from the 1st subscription has already hit the 8 week expiry period.

• How would I know when is the expiry of the credit that I collected?

You will receive a SMS notification three days prior to expiry of your G-credit.

• Can I purchase more G-Credits or (GC)?

No, you will only get 40 G-Credits each time you subscribe to the G-Room. This is one of the benefits for all G-Room subscribers.

• my G-Room account is suspended, can I still use my credit to redeem the content?

No, only active members are allowed to redeem content using G-credits received.

4. Suspension

• Help! I keep on being directed to the “Suspended” page whenever I try to access The G-Room.

If you are being redirected to the “Suspended” page:

You might have “charging failure” or “fail to charge”. Check if you have enough Air-Time Credits on your phone then subscribe again.
You might have violated any of the “Terms and Conditions” of The G-Room. Please contact us under “Help” in at the bottom of the Glu Portal.

• What happens when my account is suspended?

When your G-Room account is suspended, you will not be able to enjoy all the privileges for The G-Room, such as profiles, notifications, forums, messages, friends request, friends list, content redemption, and discounts. Basically your G-Room account will be frozen until you have reactivated your account.

• Do I lose all my G-Credits when my account gets suspended?

No, all your privileges and benefits for The G-Room is frozen. Your G-Credits remain but you are unable to redeem any content until you get your account unsuspended. Everything goes back to normal when you have successfully reactivated your G-Room account.

5. Loyalty

• I have been subscribing to The G-Room for a long time. What do I get for being such a loyal subscriber?

For the 1st 4 consecutive subscription, you will get one (1) free wallpaper
For the 1st 8 consecutive subscription, you will get one (1) free ringtone
For the 1st 12 consecutive subscription, you will get one (1) free game

• Can I redeem any free wallpapers/ringtones/games after subscribing for 4/8/12 weeks?

Yes, there are no predefined wallpapers/ringtones/games for you to redeem and you are allowed to download any wallpaper.

• If my account get suspended on week 4 and I reactivate on week 5, am I still eligible for free wallpaper?

Yes, as long as it is the 4th successful billing on subscription without G-Room membership termination, you are eligible to download a free wallpaper
If you terminate your subscription on week 4 and renew your subscription on week 5, the counter will be reset and week 5 will be considered as 1st successful billing on subscription

6. Termination

• How do I terminate my G-Room subscription?

You can terminate by:

Sending an SMS by keying in “ STOP GLU ” to 28118
or Click “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of the Glu Portal

• If I terminate my subscription and re-subscribe, will I get back my credit before termination?

No, all credits that are not redeemed will be forfeited upon termination.
