This “U Mobile X Black Adam – U Postpaid Sign Up & Win Gold Coast, Australia Trip” ("Contest") is organised by U Mobile Sdn Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U) ("U Mobile") which commences at 00:01 a.m on 28th October 2022 and ends at 11.59 p.m on 30th November 2022 ("Contest Period").

  2. All entries received before or after the Contest Period will be automatically disqualified.

  3. By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).

  4. Contest Eligibility
    1. This Contest is open to all Malaysian citizens who are new subscribers of U Postpaid 68 or U Postpaid 98 plans during the Contest Period.
    2. U Mobile’s employees, agencies, dealers, vendors and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in this Contest.
    3. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any entries or disqualify any participant without assigning any reason.
       
  5. Contest Mechanics
    1. To participate in this Contest, you are required to walk-in to any of the selected eleven (11) U Mobile Service Centres nationwide and sign up for a new U Postpaid 68 or U Postpaid 98 plan during the Contest Period.
    2. The selected eleven (11) U Mobile Service Centre locations are as listed in https://bit.ly/findUMobile.
    3. When you complete the step listed in paragraph 5(a) above, you will be deemed to be a participant of the Contest. No entry form is required.
       
  6. Prizes
    1. At the end of the Contest Period, eligible participants who have successfully performed the first 88th and 888th U Postpaid 68 or U Postpaid 98 plan sign-up will be shortlisted.
    2. The shortlisted participants are required to answer one (1) question posed by U Mobile in order to win the prizes. If the question is not answered correctly after two (2) attempts, or if U Mobile is unable to contact the shortlisted participant after three (3) voice call attempts, the shortlisted participant will be disqualified and the next shortlisted participant will be contacted.
    3. A total of two (2) winners will be selected to win a 5D4N Trip to Gold Coast, Australia (“Prize”).
    4. The applicable terms and conditions for the Prize are:
      1. The Prize will include the following:
        • A pair of Economy return air tickets from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Gold Coast, Australia; • Return transportation from Gold Coast Airport to hotel accommodation;
        • Hotel accommodation stay for 5D4N for two (2) pax; and
        • One (1) day entrance ticket (one (1) pair) to Warner Bros Movie World Theme Park.
      2. Winner must bear:
        • all other expenses not specified in paragraph (6)(d)(i) above (such as daily transportation meals and etc);
        • all expenses relating to the collection of the Prize including travelling and transportation expenses; and
        • all charges, taxes or fees relating to the Prize which include but are not limited to Australian visa application and RTK test charges.
      3. The winner is bound by the terms and conditions that come with the Prize (including air ticket, hotel accommodation and theme park). The acceptance of Prize indicates the acknowledgment and agreement of such terms and conditions.
    5. U Mobile will announce the Contest winners’ names via the Contest Winner announcement post, to be posted on U Mobile’s Instagram page (@umobile) on 17 December 2022.
    6. The winner will be required to provide their contact details (i.e. name, valid identification (NRIC) number, contact number, and email address) via direct message to U Mobile’s Instagram account (@umobile) for verification purposes.
    7. The winner is required to collect the Prize at U Mobile office (Level 10 (East), Berjaya Times Square, Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur) from 3 January 2023 until 31 January 2023 (working days only, from 10 a.m – 12 p.m and 2 p.m – 5p.m) (“Collection Period”). U Mobile reserves the right to change the Prize collection details at its own discretion. If the winner is unable to collect the prize personally, the winner may appoint a representative to collect on the winner’s behalf by producing a letter of authorization containing the representative’s details. The photocopy of NRIC (front and back) of the authorized person must also be produced collection upon of the Prize for verification purpose. Any unclaimed Prize after the Collection Period will be forfeited.
    8. The Prize is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash in full or in part. You are not allowed to sell the Prize to any third parties.
    9. Any prizes shown on U Mobile’s website, U Mobile’s social media pages, advertisements and Contest materials are for photography or illustration purposes only.
    10. The Prize is given on an “as is” basis. U Mobile is not responsible for the merchantability of the prizes. U Mobile reserves the right to substitute the Prize with that of similar value at any time without prior notice.
       
  7. General
    1. U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Contest are final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.
    2. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions including terminating or suspending this Contest and extending the Contest Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Contest.
    3. All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the participants. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Contest. All participants agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Contest.
    4. By participating in the Contest, all participants: -
      1. Consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Contest;
      2. Consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
      3. Grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
    5. The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Postpaid mobile services are subject to U Mobile’s standard Postpaid Terms and Conditions and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Postpaid Terms and Conditions will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
    6. The Contest and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Contest.
