Yes, you can subscribe to Turbo Booster (RM5/24 hours), Hotspot Booster (3GB @ RM3/3 days) and Data Booster 5 (10GB High-Speed Data @ RM5/14 days)

General

  1. There are three (3) Giler Unlimited Prepaid plans namely GX12, GX30 and GX38 (collectively, the "Plans" and individually a "Plan"). The following Table sets out the detailed offer of the Plans.

  2. The Plans are available to U Mobile prepaid subscribers only and are not available to - U Broadband subscribers.

  3. The Plans cannot be transferred to any other mobile number.

  4. Each Plan is provided according to the U Mobile Prepaid Terms and Conditions. You must comply with those terms, our Privacy Policy, and these additional terms and conditions (collectively, the "Terms") all of which are available on www.u.com.my.

  5. We reserve the right to discontinue offering the Plans, modify or otherwise change these Terms including the charges.

  6. The Plans cannot be combined with any other offers unless expressly stated.

Activation and Charges

  1. You may activate each Plan on your mobile device:

    1. via MyUMobile App’s Add-ons section; or

    2. by dialing *118#; or

    3. via SMS by sending the following keyword to 28118:

      Each SMS sent will be charged RM0.05.

  2. Before you activate and before any renewal of your subscription, you must have the following minimum credit balance for the respective Plan:

  3. The activation fee applicable for the respective Plans are as follows:

  4. We will deduct the respective activation fee based on the Plan you subscribe from your credit balance whether or not the activation was authorized by you. No refunds or request for credit will be entertained.

  5. The validity period is 7 days (for GX12) and 30 days (for GX30 and GX38) from activation. On its expiry, your subscription will be automatically rolled-over only if you have the minimum credit balance specified in paragraph 2 (Activation and Charges).

  6. If your subscription cannot be automatically renewed because you have insufficient credit balance, your subscription will not be renewed.

  7. You may activate as many Plans as you like. Any unused data will be forfeited upon renewal of the Plan.

  8. If you wish to terminate the Plan, you can unsubscribe via UMB at *118*1*4#.

  9. Any unused data will be forfeited upon Plan termination. Subsequent data usage will be charged according to the respective prepaid rate plans.

Data Service

  1. By subscribing to GX12, you will enjoy unlimited data usage with Internet speed up to 3Mbps. For GX30 and GX38, you will enjoy unlimited data usage with Internet speed up to 6Mbps. The Plans include unlimited video and music streaming at standard definition.

  2. You are given a separate 1GB (for GX12) and 6GB (for GX30 and GX38) of data quota for mobile hotspot usage. After the quota is fully utilized, data speed will be managed.

  3. Peer-to-peer (P2P) usage is up to 64kbps.

  4. For non-mobile hotspot usage, you can use the Plans via smartphones only and no other devices including MiFi and USB dongle. U Mobile may from time to time change the device requirement for the Plans based on its discretion.

  5. U Mobile at its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right at any time without being liable to you to suspend or terminate the Plans if you are found to be in violation of the Terms.
  6. The data service is subject to network limitations and availability and device capability. Your actual download speed and data capacity will vary and may be slower and are affected but not limited, by your distance from our mobile tower, the capacity of our mobile tower, the source of your download, your handset type and quality, the general Internet traffic and coverage availability.

  7. When there is a network failure, your normal (non-hotspot) data usage may inadvertently be deducted from your mobile hotspot quota. You acknowledge the possibility of this happening and agree not to hold us liable.

Voice Service

  1. The voice service applies to domestic mobile, domestic fixed on-net and off-net usage and excludes video calls, MMS, International Direct Dial (IDD), International Roaming, Voicemail (1311) or calls to special numbers/premium numbers (e.g.: 1300 / 1500 / 1508 / 1600 / 1700 / 1900 / 103, 800 & 15999), 02-prefix numbers for border calls to Singapore and 080-prefix numbers for border calls to Brunei.

  2. You must only use the voice service strictly as part of normal everyday mobile voice usage and not for commercial use. The Plan shall not be:

    • re-sold, rented or utilised in any other way;

    • used for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, application-to-person communication, continuous calling for extended period of time, auto-dialling, machine-to-machine communication;

    • used for wholesale or for SIM boxing or aggregate minutes on our network;

    • used in connection with a device, software or application which re-routes calls;

    • used to set up switch devices which could keep a line open potentially for hours and limiting the ability for other customers to access our network; or

    • used for any other activity that U Mobile considers to be non-standard usage.


  3. In addition to our other rights and remedies, we may suspend or terminate your Plan if you breach any of the Terms and any unused credit balance shall be forfeited.

GX38Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. This U Mobile ‘GX38’ Promotion (“Promotion”) by U Mobile Sdn Bhd (“U Mobile”) will commence at 00:00 on 13 February 2020 and continue until further notice.

  2. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by all the Promotion terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).

  3. Promotion Eligibility

    This Promotion is open to all Active Prepaid subscribers who subscribe GX38 during the Promotion Period. “Active” means able to make and receive calls.

  4. Promotion Mechanics

    • All successful subscription of GX38 Plan during the Promotion Period will be charged with an activation fee of RM35 instead of the activation fee of RM38. The activation fee of RM35 will be deducted from your credit balance.

    • Upon the expiry of the Promotion Period, the activation fee of RM38 will be charged.
