IDD service allows U Mobile customers to enjoy making voice, video as well as SMS to other countries. In condition, IDD video call is subjected to the availability of other operator of the country.
Dial “00” or “+” followed by the country code, mobile prefix or area code and the phone number that you would like to dial.
Example: To place an IDD call to Singapore, < + > < 65 > < area code > < phone number >
There are no additional registration fees are required, however you are required to register this service in any U Mobile Service Centre and RM 300.00 of deposit is required upon registration. Deposit is refundable.
Your call charges will come under the 'International' section in your bill, which records all the calls you made to destinations outside of Malaysia. Name of the destination country will be reflected in the billing.

Our partners in China – China Unicom have alerted us to an intermittent network issue that they are facing at present – where they cannot support outbound calls with the “+” prefix. Please use “00” as your international dialing prefix until further notice.
