U10 Supplementary Line for U28, U58 & U88

  1. What is Supplementary Line?
  2. Supplementary Line is a plan offered by U Mobile to all existing and new postpaid customers. This plan is open to all Malaysians and Foreigners; customer must be of age 18 and above.

  3. What does RM15 Access Fee include for Supplementary Line? Will I be charged every month?
  4. RM15 Access Fee includes RM10 for Supplementary Line Access Fee and RM5* for U Buddy Service. You will be charged on monthly basis.

    *This is only applicable for Supplementary Line with a Principal of new postpaid rate plans (U28, U58, U88).

    Normal Access Fee for U Buddy Service is RM10/month.

  5. What do I get if I subscribe to a Supplementary Line with RM15 Access Fee for New Postpaid Rate Plans (U28, U58, U88) Principal?
  6. You will get 5 hours free U Mobile to U Mobile talk time every month.

  7. How many supplementary plans can each principal line of New Postpaid Rate Plans (U28, U58, U88) have?
  8. Customer is allowed to have 3 supplementary for each principal line of New Postpaid Rate Plans (U28, U58, U88).

  9. Is upfront payment required?
  10. Yes, upfront payment of RM10 is required for each supplementary registration.

  11. Will my usage be used to offset my Access Fee?
  12. No. The Access Fee will not offset your usage charges.

  13. What are the Value Added Services (VAS) offered upon registration of the Supplementary Line?
  14. Value Added Services with no monthly subscription fees given by default upon registration are:

    1. Calling line identification presentation (CLIP)
    2. Voicemail*
    3. Videomail*
    4. Call Waiting
    5. Call Holding
    6. Call Forwarding*

    * Usage charge applies

  15. What are the call rates and charges for Supplementary Line under new postpaid rate plans ((U28, U58, U88)?

  17. What will be Supplementary Line credit limit?
  18. The credit limit is shared with the principal line. Eg. Principal Account subscribed to U88 with RM300 credit limit and its supplementary lines will share this RM300 credit limit with the principal line.

  19. Is the credit limit divided equally among principal and supplementary line?
  20. No. The credit limit will not be divided equally among principal and supplementary line.

  21. Is principal (U28, U58, U88) allowed to share monthly fee with supplementary line to offset domestic usage such as voice and video mails, MMS and SMS?
  22. No.

  23. Will Supplementary Line be able to share free SMS and/or free talk time with the principal (U28, U58, U88)?
  24. No.

  25. If the principal is tied to a contractual plan, would I be tied to the contract if I become the U10 Supplementary?
  26. No. You will not be tied to any contract. Only the principal will be tied to the contract.

  27. I have subscribed to U28 plan, can I choose my own number if I were to subscribe to Supplementary Line?
  28. Yes. You can refer to the list available at the dealer's or service centre for your preferred number or request for special number.

  29. If I subscribe to Supplementary Line in the middle of the month, would my Access Fee be pro-rated?
  30. No. The Access Fee will not be pro-rated.

  31. Will there be an itemized bill?
  32. Yes, there will be itemized bill, however, it will only be sent to the principal's address.

  33. I am the principal and I would like to request for a non itemized bill, would that be the same for my Supplementary?
  34. Yes. Your supplementary will get a non itemized bill as well.

  35. I am a subscriber of Supplementary Line. I have lost my USIM card. Can I go to the U Mobile centres to get a replacement USIM card?
  36. The Principal will have to walk in to U Mobile centres to get the USIM replacement. However, if you have an authorization letter from the principal, you can get the replacement card on your own.

  37. I am a subscriber of Supplementary Line, will I be charged for my bill statement if my principal request for itemized bill statement?
  38. No. Only the principal will be charged for the itemized bill statement.

  39. I am a U88 subscriber with phone bundling plan. If I subscribe to Supplementary Line, will my supplementary get the phone plan and tied to the contract?
  40. No. The Supplementary will only be getting USIM card.

  41. Can my Supplementary Line call in to activate any VAS? Eg. U Buddy, MB plans.
  42. The principal can call or walk in to activate VAS for Supplementary.
