Prepaid Free Calls

  1. How do I make these “free calls”?
  2. Beginning 20th July 2011, U Mobile prepaid subscribers (inclusive of port-in subscribers) who top-up their prepaid accounts will be able to make calls for free within the network.

    Every ringgit topped-up gives subscribers 1 day of free calls.

  3. What does “free calls from U Mobile to U Mobile”/ within the network mean?
  4. This means calling within the network - from one U Mobile number to another U Mobile number.

  5. Is this promotion applicable to video calls?
  6. No. This promotion is applicable for voice calls only.

  7. Is this promotion applicable to IDD or roaming numbers?
  8. No. This promotion is strictly applicable for domestic calls only.

  9. Will the "free calls" be deducted from the credit balance in my account?
  10. No. Free calls will not affect the credit balance in your account when you make calls within the U Mobile network.

  11. Is there a limit to the numbers of calls I can make? Are there any 'friends and family' settings required?
  12. No, you can call unlimited U Mobile numbers. All you have to do is to top up with U Mobile. No extra settings are required.

  13. Can I make these free calls only within a certain time belt?
  14. No, you can make free calls anytime of the day during your "free call days."

  15. Can I make calls to numbers outside of the U Mobile network?
  16. Standard rates will apply for calls made to numbers out of the U Mobile network. (9sen/30sec)

  17. When will I receive these "free calls" when I top up?
  18. A "free call" SMS confirmation will be sent to you.

  19. When can I start using my free calls?
  20. You can start using your free call upon receiving your "free call" SMS notification.
    Daily free calls are timed from 00:00am to 11:59pm and reset on a daily basis.

  21. How do I calculate my free call days?
  22. Every RM1 reload gives you 1 day of free calls. If you top up RM10, you will get 10 days of free calls from the day you reload your account.

    Maximum free call days are capped at 150 days.

  23. How do I calculate my free calls days when I make a subsequent top up?
  24. Your free call days will be extended from your last “free call day”, or from the day of topping up, whichever is later.

  25. If I’m running out of credit, will I be able to use my free call?
  26. You must have a minimum balance of 10 sen to make calls (free calls included).

  27. I’m currently subscribed to other U Mobile promotions which also offer free call.
  28. If you have any free calls from other U Mobile promotions, they will be used up first.

  29. How do I check my free call days?
  30. Kindly dial *118#

  31. Will I be notified when my free calls are near exhaustion?
  32. Yes, you will receive a SMS notification before your free calls expire.
