Insert your U Mobile SIM card into your dongle

How to subscribe to a Broadband Plan

  • Step 1
  • Create a new SMS message from your client software
  • Step 2
  • Key in "ON MBXX" and send it to 28118 (MB represents the data plan
    you would like to subscribe to (Eg, SMS <ON MBDAY> 28118))
  • Step 3
  • Wait for the SMS confirmation. (An SMS notification will be sent to you
    upon successful activation of the selected broadband package.)

How to check Your Data Usage

  • Step 1
  • Create a new SMS message from your client software
  • Step 2
  • Key in "DATA" and send it to 28118
  • Step 3
  • Wait for an SMS confirmation

How to check Your Balance Airtime

  • Step 1
  • Create a new SMS message from your client software
  • Step 2
  • Key in "CREDIT" or "KREDIT" and send it to 28118
  • Step 3
  • Wait for an SMS confirmation

How to Top-up

  • Step 1
  • Create a new SMS message from your client software
  • Step 2
  • Key in the 14-digit top-up number, and send it to 22128.
    (Eg, SMS <11112222333344> 22128)
  • Step 3
  • Wait for an SMS confirmation

  • Step 1
  • Active your broadband by dialing *118#
  • Step 2
  • Select <U Broadband> from the menu
  • Step 3
  • Select <Purchase U Broadband>
  • Step 4
  • Select a Broadband Package
    (Eg, Select <1> for MB Day: RM5/DAY, 500MB)
  • Step 5
  • Wait for an SMS confirmation

How to check Your Data Usage

  • Step 1
  • Dial *118#
  • Step 2
  • Select <U Broadband> from the menu
  • Step 3
  • Select <Check Data Usage>
  • Step 4
  • Wait for an SMS confirmation

How to check Your Balance Airtime

  • Step 1
  • Dial *118#
  • Step 2
  • View your balance from the menu

How to Top-Up

  • Step 1
  • Dial *118#
  • Step 2
  • Select <My Account> from the menu
  • Step 3
  • Select <Top-Up>
  • Step 4
  • Key in the 14-digit pin # and press
  • Step 5
  • Wait for an SMS confirmation

Or

  • Step 1
  • Dial *138# 14-digit pin# and press
    (Eg, *138#11112222333344#)
  • Step 2
  • Wait for an SMS confirmation
  • Step 3
  • To check your airtime balance, dial *118#
