Kuala Lumpur, 17 March 2021 -U Mobile was recently recognised in a report entitled Southeast Asia State of Mobile Experience by Tutela, an independent crowdsourced data company with a global panel of over 300 million smartphone users, as the Malaysian telco that delivered the highest percentage of Excellent Consistent Quality when it comes to demanding use cases such as HD video calling, multiplayer gaming and HD video streaming. U Mobile also scored the highest percentage of Core Consistent Quality, which represents everyday use cases that most use their data on such as SD video streaming, web browsing or uploading photos to social media. Besides that, U Mobile also came up tops for Upload Throughput, with a median speed of 8.0 Mbps.

Based on the report, 63% of tests from users passed the “Excellent” consistency threshold, while 83.3% of tests passed the “Core” consistency threshold.
