KUALA LUMPUR, 8 October – U Mobile, Malaysia's best 5G network, today announced the availability of SIM-based Phone Number Verification (PNV) through its ULTRA5G network in partnership with Telenor Linx. The service provides businesses and developers with a simpler and more secure way to authenticate users. Through U Mobile’s SIM-based PNV service, digital platforms and service providers can verify users without requiring them to manually enter an SMS One-Time Password (OTP), helping to simplify registration, login and identity verification while strengthening fraud prevention and digital trust.

U Mobile’s partnership with Telenor Linx also enables its PNV service to be made available to developers using Google Firebase, extending the service to a broader developer ecosystem.
