HERO Postpaid
All Malaysians and foreigners above 18 years old. The plans are available for new registrations, mobile number portability (MNP) port-ins, prepaid to postpaid conversions and change of rate plans.
*Foreigners and Permanent Resident ( PR ) are required to pay upfront payment and additional RM500 deposit upon sign up.
An upfront payment is made at the point of registration. It will then be deducted from your first month’s bill statement and you will only be required to pay any balance due under your first month’s bill statement.
Upfront Payment is an advance payment equivalent to the monthly fee made when you first sign up any Postpaid/Broadband plans. Eg: P99 (RM99), P79 (RM79), P48 (RM48). This payment will be collected upon signing up for your desired plan, and will be used to off-set your first monthly bill. It is not refundable.
Advance Access Fee will be reflected in your first month’s bill and is refundable upon service termination request. It will be refunded after off-set your outstanding payments (if any).
The initial Advance Access Fees will be refunded to you and the new Advance Access Fee for the new rate plan will be charged to your bill statement. The Stamp Duty and Upfront Payment will not be collected again.
All voice and SMS allocation within the rate plan bundle will be pro-rated based on activation date. Data allocation will not be prorated. This is not applicable for Share 10 & Share 20.

- Monthly bundled all-net/other network minutes will be pro-rated if subscription period is less than a month.
- All voice minutes bundled only apply to domestic mobile/fixed on-net and off-net usage and excludes video calls, IDD, International Roaming, Voicemail (1311) or calls to special numbers/premium numbers (e.g.: 1300 / 1500 / 1508 / 1600 / 1700 / 1900 / 103, 800 & 15999) and 02-prefix numbers for border calls to Singapore and 080-prefix numbers for border calls to Brunei.
- All voice minutes bundled shall be used strictly as part of normal everyday mobile voice usage for individual customers and not for commercial use. The Service shall not be:
- re-sold, rented or utilised in any other way;
- used for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, application-to-person communication, continuous calling for extended period of time, auto-dialling, machine-to-machine communication;
- used for wholesale or for SIM boxing or aggregate minutes on our network;
- used in connection with a device, software or application which re-routes calls;
- used to set up switch devices which could keep a line open potentially for hours and limiting the ability for other customers to access our network; or
- used for any other activity that U Mobile considers to be non-standard usage.
- The following plans will be bundled with unlimited Internet quota for:
- P68 plan for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, WeChat and Facebook Messenger; and
- P79 plan for WhatsApp and WeChat.
- U Mobile at its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right at any time without being liable to you to suspend or terminate the Service if you are found to be in violation of the Terms.
- You may subscribe up to 3 member lines, either “Share 20” or “Share 50”, depending on the plan that you have signed up. For Share 50, upfront payment is required for each Share 50 member line subscribed. If you subscribe up to 3 Share 50 member lines, you are required to sign-up for auto-debit of the monthly charges for the principal and the member lines using your credit card. If you subscribe to Share 50, your credit limit will be increased automatically upon activation of each member line.

U Mobile may block or restrict the use of the device during the Subsidy Period if:
- U Mobile suspects that you have committed fraud;
- U Mobile finds that you have committed fraud; or
- despite our reminders, you have failed to remit the Monthly Fees of selected rate plan for a continuous period of three (3) consecutive months from the activation of the device plan or any other period as determined by U Mobile from time to time.
- U Mobile may unblock the use of the device upon receipt of the outstanding payment and upon your request to unblock the use of the device, if your device use is blocked due to non-payment of the Monthly Fees of selected rate plan.
- If your device is blocked due to fraud or suspected fraud, you may be requested to contact U Mobile’s customer service for further instructions.
- You remain liable for the Monthly Fees if you lose your device, if your account is barred or suspended, or if your use of device is blocked, for any reason.
General Postpaid Plan
- This Postpaid Plan is available as a bundled service with a device or as a stand-alone service (Service) and is supplied according to the Terms of Service in our Postpaid Sign-Up Form. You must comply with those Terms of Service including our Privacy Policy, the relevant Postpaid subscription plan and these additional terms and conditions (collectively, the Terms) all of which are available on www.u.com.my.
- You must pay the Monthly Fee in full even if you do not use the Service to the full value for the month. No part of the Monthly Fee will be carried over to the following months. Any usage exceeding the Monthly Fee will be billed to you on monthly basis. Monthly Fee may also be referred to as “Monthly Commitment Fee”, “Monthly Access Fee” or other names as may be determined by us.
- Charges for all other services not listed, such as International Direct Dial (IDD) and International Roaming will not be deducted from the Monthly Fee and will be charged separately. Unless specifically stated otherwise, monthly data and bundled minutes are only applicable for domestic usage and will not be available during Roaming.
- We reserve the right to amend or change the tariffs at any time during the Contract Period.
- The Service cannot be combined with other package unless stated otherwise.
- Contract Period will be applicable when devices are bundled together with the Service. We may impose cancellation charges/fees (including unpaid device price) if you terminate the Services (or we terminate due to your non-compliance) prior to the agreed Contract Period. Contract Period may also be referred as “Minimum Period” or “Minimum Term”.
- If you have bought any device or accessories from us or our dealers, all claims relating to those products are covered by the warranty, if any, offered by the relevant manufacturer. We do not provide any warranty claim on the device.
- The Advance Access Fee is charged in advance to your account and will be shown in your first month bill. If you do not pay your bill by the due date, this Advance Access Fee may be used to offset any outstanding charges. Upon set off or deduction, we may also require you to pay a further advance fee in an amount that we determine. Any remaining balance of the advance fee will be refunded to you without interest if you terminate this Postpaid Plan provided all outstanding charges have been settled.
- If you are an existing U Mobile prepaid customer and you wish to switch to this Postpaid Plan, you may retain your phone number. Any remaining SMS, voice minutes or data allowance to which you are entitled under the previous prepaid plan will be forfeited and any content subscription services which are part of your previous prepaid plan will be automatically terminated. However, any credit remaining may be carried over to this Postpaid Plan up to a maximum value of RM100 to offset bill payment. Any credit balance exceeding the sum of RM100 will be automatically forfeited.
- If you have subscribed to any voice or SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack, when you change your rate plan, any unused quota from the voice or SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack will be forfeited without refund.
- Upon activation of your new rate plan:
- if your new rate plan has an unlimited voice service bundle:
- your subscription of any voice Postpaid Add-on Pack on your previous rate plan will be terminated. You will be charged with the full monthly charges of the Postpaid Add-on Pack and any unused quota on the voice Postpaid Add-on Pack will be forfeited without refund.
- if you have previously subscribed to any SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack, you will be re-subscribed to the same pack. The re-subscribed SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack will have a refreshed quota and will be valid until the last day of your bill cycle. You will be charged with the full charges for the SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack:
- for the previous subscription on your previous rate plan; and
- for the renewed subscription on your new rate plan.
- if your new rate plan is not bundled with any unlimited voice service bundle, and if you have previously subscribed to any voice or SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack, you will be re-subscribed to the same pack. The re-subscribed voice or SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack will have a refreshed quota and will be valid until the last day of your bill cycle. You will be charged for the full monthly charges for the voice of or SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack:
- for the previous subscription on your previous rate plan; and
- for the renewed subscription on your new rate plan.
- Your actual download speed and data capacity will vary and may be slower and are affected but not limited, by your distance from our mobile tower, the capacity of our mobile tower, the source of your download, your handset type and quality, the general Internet traffic and coverage availability. If your total download and upload use per month exceeds any applicable allocated data allowance, we will manage your bandwidth by reducing your speed.
- Any add-on services bundled together with the Postpaid plan(s) are governed by separate terms and conditions, which are published on www.u.com.my.
- Miscellaneous
Advance Access Fee is the amount which equals to the Monthly Fee
Contract Period is the pre-agreed duration for which you are required to subscribe to the Services.
Monthly Fee is the monthly fee that you are required to pay for your Postpaid Plan and may be used interchangeably with Access Fee or Monthly Access Fee in www.u.com.my or in your bill.

Value+ Promotion
- This U Mobile Value+ Promotion (“Promotion”) by U Mobile Sdn Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U) (“U Mobile”) will commence at 00:00 on 15 December 2020 and effective until further notice (“Promotion Period”).
- By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
- Eligibility
This Promotion is open to all Active Postpaid subscribers. “Active” means able to make and receive calls. - Promotion Mechanism
-
To participate in this Promotion, :
- you must be a subscriber of an Active postpaid plan of either Unlimited Hero Postpaid GX68, P79, P99 or P139 (“Line 1”). If there is more than one eligible line in your account, the line with the longest tenure will be entitled to the Promotion. In order to be eligible for the Promotion, Line 1 must be a stand alone service and not a bundled service.
- you are required to add a new Unlimited Hero Postpaid GX68 principal line (”Line 2”) which is activated in the following manner:
- Port-in successfully from another service provider or sign up Line 2 during the Promotion Period. Prepaid to postpaid plan conversion is eligible for this Promotion. Any rate plan change from an existing postpaid plan to Line 2 is not eligible.
- Activation of Line 2 must not be earlier than Line 1. Line 2 must be activated before the end of the Promotion Period.
- Both Line 1 and Line 2 must be registered under the same customer identification (ID). Customer identification includes NRIC or passport.
- Both Line 1 and Line 2 will be subject to a commitment period of 24 months (“Commitment Period”) from the activation of Line 2. If you terminate Line 1 or Line 2 within the Commitment Period, depending on the device, you are allowed to upgrade to another Hero Postpaid device plan of higher value.
- Device Offer
- Subject to fulfillment of the Commitment Period, each eligible subscriber will be entitled to receive either a free device or a device at a subsidised price depending on the applicable bundle offer, once during the Promotion Period.
- If you subsequently terminate or downgrade Line 1 or Line 2 and re-activate the line during the Promotion Period, you will no longer be eligible for this Promotion. In this case, device early termination fee (as specified in paragraph 5(c) below) will be chargeable from the next billing cycle.
- If you terminate Line 1 or Line 2 or change to another rate plan at any time within the Commitment Period, you are required to refund the balance of the device subsidy amount. The device subsidy amount is determined by U Mobile at our sole discretion.
The balance of device subsidy will be calculated as follows:
Device subsidy amount / Commitment Period x remaining numbers of months.
The remaining number of months will be deemed to include the month during which you terminated Line 1 or Line 2. - All claims relating to your smartphone, which is part of the device offer and which are covered by the warranty, if any, should be referred to the relevant manufacturer. We do not provide any warranty claim on any device.
- U Mobile may block or restrict the use of the device during the Commitment Period if (i) U Mobile suspects or finds that you have committed fraud; or (ii) despite our reminders, you have failed to remit the monthly fees of your Postpaid plan for a continuous period of three (3) consecutive months from the activation of the device plan or any other period as determined by U Mobile from time to time.
- U Mobile may unblock the use of the device upon receipt of the outstanding payment and upon your request to unblock the use of the device, if your device use is blocked due to non-payment of the monthly fees that you are required to pay for your Postpaid plan.

- General

- By participating in the Promotion, all participants: -
- consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Promotion;

- grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
- The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Postpaid mobile service are subject to U Mobile’s standard Postpaid Terms and Conditions, the respective Postpaid plans terms and conditions and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, between these Terms and Conditions, U Mobile’s standard Postpaid Terms and Conditions and the respective Postpaid plans terms and conditions, the conflict will be resolved in the following descending order:
- the Postpaid Plan Terms and Conditions;
- the respective Postpaid plans terms and conditions; and
- these Terms and Conditions.
- The Promotion and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Promotion.

- This U Mobile ‘2x Hotspot’ promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by U Mobile Sdn Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U) (“U Mobile”) which will commence at 03:00 on 13 January 2021 and end at 23:59 on 30 April 2021 (“Promotion Period”).

All eligible subscribers will enjoy extra hotspot data quota (“Extra Hotspot Data”) during the Promotion Period. You will receive the Extra Hotspot Data according to the respective subscribed plans as set out in the Table below. Upon expiry of the Promotion Period, the existing hotspot data for the respective plans will be applicable.
