Passive Period is a grace period granted to subscribers whose plan has been deactivated due to not topping up. During your account's Passive Period, you will not be able to make calls, send SMS or browse the Internet, but you can receive incoming calls and SMS. To make calls and send SMS again, please perform a top up. To avoid service cancellation, please top up before the end of the Passive Period.
The Passive Period change was updated since 1 April 2014.
All prepaid packs are impacted, including U Prepaid Packs, New U Prepaid Packs, Power Prepaid Packs, Unlimited Power Prepaid Packs, Unlimited FUNZ Prepaid Packs, Mobile Broadband Prepaid Plan and Prepaid iPlans.
If you are a customer who is currently in Passive status, and would be in a Passive status for more than 60 days, your line will be terminated. Please perform a top-up to avoid service interruption.
If your account is passive or has expired, you will not be able to use Unlimited Mobile Internet. Do ensure that your account remains active.
Every RM1 reload gives you 1 day of free calls. If you top up RM10, you will get 10 free call days, starting from the day you reload your account.
The maximum number of free call days you can have is 150 days.
Your free calls validity will follow the longest validity.
For example, if you top up RM30 on Day 1, you will have free calls until Day 30. If you make another top up of RM10 on day 15, your free calls validity will still be until Day 30 and not Day 45. However, if you make a RM30 top-up on Day 1 and make another top-up of RM10 on Day 25, then your free calls validity will be extended until Day 35.
Calls are charged at 10 sen per 30 seconds. SMS within the U Mobile network is charged at 3 sen per SMS, and SMS to other local operators is charged at 8 sen per SMS.
The credit validity is 2x the value of your top-up amount. For example, if you top up RM10, your credit validity is 20 days.
