Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun is a businessman and entrepreneur with more than four decades of entrepreneurial experience and has a diverse portfolio comprising interests in property development and investment, gaming, lottery management, stockbroking, motor distribution, retailing, trading, hospitality, internet related businesses, environmental and utilities, media, food and beverage, telecommunications, insurance and education through various public and private companies namely, Berjaya Corporation group of companies, Berjaya Assets Berhad, 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Berhad, Berjaya Media Berhad, Berjaya Retail Sdn Bhd, Intan Utilities Sdn Bhd, U Mobile Sdn Bhd and MOL Ventures Pte Ltd.

Currently, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun is the Chairman of Berjaya Corporation Berhad, Berjaya Hills Resort Berhad, Berjaya Times Square Sdn Bhd, Berjaya Capital Berhad and U Mobile Sdn Bhd. He is also the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Sports Toto Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun also holds directorships in several other private limited companies and also in Berjaya Corporation group of companies.

Mr Sio Tat Hiang serves as Non-Executive Director on the board of ST Telemedia (STT) and Deputy Chairman of STT Communications.

He is also Chairman of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) in India, Vice Chairman of GDS Holdings, Chairman of Virtus in the UK and Director of U Mobile.

Mr Sio was previously Chairman of STT GDC in Singapore and Executive Director of STT. He is a key member of STT’s founding team and played a vital role in the company’s development and growth including the formation of STT GDC.

Prior to STT, Mr Sio has held various senior roles in corporate finance and investment management at Singapore Technologies, the former parent of STT.

Mr Sio graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours from the former University of Singapore, and completed the Senior Management Programme at London Business School in the UK.

Tan Sri Dato' Surin Upatkoon, a Thai national, was appointed Executive Director of Magnum Berhad (Magnum) on 4 August 2000, expanding his role on 28 August 2002, when he was appointed as Managing Director of Magnum. He is also the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of Magnum.

Tan Sri Surin completed his secondary education in Han Chiang High School, Penang in 1970. He began his career with MWE Weaving Mills Sdn. Bhd. in 1971 as a manager and he was appointed as the Managing Director of MWE Spinning Mills Sdn. Bhd. in 1974 where he was in charge of its daily operations. Subsequently, he was appointed the Managing Director of MWE Weaving Mills Sdn. Bhd. and a Director of MWE Holdings Berhad (now known as MWE Holdings Sdn. Bhd.). Tan Sri Surin has vast working experience and has played a key role in the expansion and development of the MWE Group of Companies.

Currently, he also sits on the Board of MPHB Capital Berhad (a public listed company), Magnum 4D Berhad and several private limited companies in Malaysia (including U Mobile Sdn Bhd) and overseas. He is also a Trustee of Chang Ming Thien Foundation and Magnum Foundation.

Kenneth Chang brings with him over 25 years of knowledge and experience in various sectors within the ICT and Internet industry. His interest covers multiple emerging and disruptive internet based applications, to telecommunication as well as internet infrastructures. He is the founder and Executive Director of Qinetics Solutions Sdn Bhd, a leader in Internet services and Enterprise solutions in the Asia Pacific region.

Kenneth is the founding director of U Mobile Sdn Bhd since its inception in 2006. He is instrumental in the building up of the company’s strategic business plan and operation during the early stage of the company, as well as the establishing of strategic investment from leading global telecommunication groups. Currently, Kenneth serves as a Director and member of the Executive Committee of U Mobile Sdn Bhd. He is also an Executive Director of U Telemedia Sdn Bhd, a shareholder of U Mobile Sdn Bhd.

Kenneth graduated from University of Southampton, United Kingdom in 1995 with a Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Electronics Engineering.

Mr Lim Ah Doo serves as Non-Executive Director on the board of ST Telemedia (STT).

He is also Non-Executive Director of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) in India, VIRTUS HoldCo Limited and U Mobile, and an Independent Non-Executive Director of GDS Holdings.

Mr Lim is Chairman of Olam International and sits on the boards of ST Engineering and GP Industries.

Mr Lim was previously director on the board of STT GDC in Singapore. He brings over 40 years of banking and commerce experience, having held several senior positions including chairing Morgan Grenfell (Asia), as well as President and Vice Chairman of RGE (formerly known as RGM International).

Mr Lim Ming Seong serves as Non-Executive Director on the board of ST Telemedia. He also sits on the board of U Mobile.

Mr Lim is Chairman of CSE Global and First Resources. Mr Lim was with the ST group from 1986 and retired as Group Director in 2002.

Ho Soo Ching is an investor and director of a private property development and investment company. He had been a director of a number of public companies in Singapore, Malaysia, England, Hong Kong and Canada in various sectors including finance, logistics, plantations, mining and manufacturing. Prior to that, he held various senior positions in the financial services sector for about 20 years, having been involved in corporate finance and direct investment in infrastructure projects in Asia and structured financing.

Mr Ho graduated with a B.Sc (Hons) in Industrial Chemistry from Loughborough University, U.K. and holds a M.Sc. degree in Operational Research and Management Science from Imperial College, London.

Heang Tuck, who was named CEO of U Mobile in 2014, joined the telco in 2013 as its COO. With his strategic vision and strong leadership, U Mobile’s revenue and market growth has been able to outperform industry average. In 2016, U Mobile was also awarded additional spectrum in the 900MHz and 1800MHz bands by the government with full nationwide implementation starting 1 January 2017.

Prior to U Mobile, Heang Tuck served as the CFO of WBL Corporate Limited, a multinational conglomerate listed on Singapore Exchange. He has also been the CFO of KS Energy Limited in Singapore and PT Indosat, a telco in Indonesia.

In his career, Heang Tuck also spent a decade with Keppel Corporation in Singapore. During his tenure with them, he held several senior positions in various companies under Keppel Corporation.

Heang Tuck holds a MBA from Imperial College, London and a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from University of Manchester.
