Game-Onz

Game-Onz is a prepaid package that gives you:

  • Unlimited gaming data 
  • High-speed data
  • Free unlimited* data for music streaming (*Limited time offer)

There are three (3) ways to purchase Game-Onz:

  1. Via MyUMobile App (available from App Store and Google Play)
  2. Via UMB: Dial *118*3*5# and choose your desired package
  3. Via SMS: Send GOXX to 28118 ( "GO18" for Game-Onz 18, "GO50" for Game-Onz 50 and "GO 70" for Game-Onz 70 to 28118)

To use Game-Onz, simply enable Mobile hotspot on your mobile phone and tether your laptop or PC, then launch one of the supported games and start playing.

Any subsequent gaming will consume data from your High-speed data quota.

You will receive an SMS notification when you hit 80% and 100% usage. Your connection speed will be managed once you hit your plan’s quota. Please purchase data boosters or a new Game-Onz package to continue to enjoy high-speed data.

Your data usage will be consumed from your high-speed data quota.

The call and SMS rates for Game-Onz will follow the base plan, i.e. Power Prepaid plan, New U Prepaid plan or U Prepaid plan.

Your UMI 20 will be replaced by Game-Onz 18. All data usage will come from Game-Onz 18.

Your UMI 30 will be replaced by Game-Onz 18. However, your data booster will not be forfeited and will expire based on the booster’s subscription date. If you are playing games, your gaming data will be consumed first while other data usage will be consumed from the booster, followed by Game-Onz’s high-speed data.

Free MOLPoints

This promotion is valid from 3 March 2017 to 31 August 2017.

The free MOLPoints are available to all prepaid subscribers who subscribe to any Game-Onz plan.

To get free MOLPoints, simply repurchase a Game-Onz plan before your current Game-Onz plan expires. You will also receive free MOLPoints upon successful auto renewal of your current Game-Onz plan.

You may receive up to 500 free MOLPoints with each re-purchase / auto renewal of:

  1. Game-Onz 18 – Free 100 MOLPoints
  2. Game-Onz 50 – Free 300 MOLPoints
  3. Game-Onz 70 – Free 500 MOLPoints

You will receive an SMS notification with your free MOLPoints PIN number and serial number.

Yes, you are eligible to get free MOLPoints when you repurchase a Game-Onz plan before your current Game-Onz plan expires.

Yes, you are eligible to get free MOLPoints if the auto renewal of your current Game-Onz plan is successful.

No, you are not. However, you are entitled to get free MOLPoints when you purchase any Game-Onz plan again before the current Game-Onz plan expires, or when your current Game-Onz plan is successfully auto renewed.

You can only redeem your free MOLPoints at www.mol.com or via the MOLPoints app.

You need to redeem your MOLPoints within 30 days after receiving the free MOLPoints SMS.

Terms and Conditions – Game-Onz

General
  1. There are three (3) Game-Onz Plans; Game-Onz 18, Game-Onz 50 and Game-Onz 70 (collectively, the "Plans" and individually a "Plan").
  2. The Plans are data service packages that offer gaming and local data usage.
  3. The Plans are available to U Mobile prepaid subscribers only and are not available to U Broadband subscribers.
  4. The Plans cannot be transferred to any other mobile number.
  5. Each Plan is provided according to the U Mobile Prepaid Terms and Conditions. You must comply with those terms including our Fair Use Policy, Privacy Policy, and these additional terms and conditions (collectively, the "Terms") all of which are available on www.u.com.my.
  6. We reserve the right to modify or otherwise change these Terms including the charges.
  7. The Plans cannot be combined with any other offers unless expressly stated.
Activation and Charges
  1. You may activate each Plan by dialing *118# or via SMS ( "GO18" for Game-Onz 18, "GO50" for Game-Onz 50 and "GO 70" for Game-Onz 70 to 28118) on your mobile device.
  2. Before you activate, you must have a credit balance of at least RM18 for Game-Onz 18, RM50 for Game-Onz 50 and RM70 for Game-Onz 70.
  3. The activation fee is RM18 for Game-Onz 18, RM50 for Game-Onz 50 and RM70 for Game-Onz 70. We will deduct RM18 for Game-Onz 18, RM50 for Game-Onz 50 and RM70 for Game-Onz 70 from your credit balance whether or not the activation was authorised by you. No refunds or request for credit will be entertained.
  4. The validity period will be as follows:
    Game-Onz Plans Validity
    Game-Onz 18 7 days
    Game-Onz 50 30 days
    Game-Onz 70 30 days
  5. On the expiry of the Plan, your subscription will automatically be rolled-over only if you have a credit balance of at least RM18 for Game-Onz 18, RM50 for Game-Onz 50 and RM70 for Game-Onz 70. Any unused data will be forfeited.
  6. For cross purchase of another data Plan other than the same data Plan, all unused data will be forfeited when new data Plan is purchased. E.g. If you have an existing UMI 20 but you subsequently buy Game-Onz 50, all unused data will be forfeited when Game-Onz 50 is purchased.
  7. You may activate as many Plans as you like.
  8. If you wish to terminate the Plan, you can unsubscribe via UMB at *118# or by sending "OFF GAMEONZ18" for Game-Onz 18, "OFF GAMEONZ50" for Game-Onz 50 and " OFF GAMEONZ70" for Game-Onz 70 to 28118. Each SMS will be charged RM0.05. Any unused bundle will be forfeited. Subsequent data usage will be charged at the Pay-At-You-Use rate according to the respective prepaid rate plans.
  9. If you wish to stop auto-renewal of Game-Onz plans, you can stop the service at *118# or by sending “STOP GAMEONZ18” for for Game-Onz 18, "STOP GAMEONZ50" for Game-Onz 50 and " STOP GAMEONZ70" for Game-Onz 70 to 28118. Each SMS will be charged RM0.05.
  10. Any voice call or SMS made will be charged at the Pay-At-You-Use rate according to the respective prepaid rate plans.
Data Service
  1. By subscribing to the Plan, you will enjoy high-speed data usage subject to our Fair Use Policy. If you exceed the high-speed data quota, we may at our absolute discretion without limiting our rights in the Terms, manage your bandwidth, suspend or terminate the Plan including without limitation, reducing your speed. Our aim is to provide quality mobile services to all our subscribers so that no subscribers are disadvantaged by the behavior of others.
  2. The data service is subject to network limitations and availability and device capability.
  3. Actual speeds will vary and are affected but not limited by: your distance from our mobile tower, the capacity of our mobile tower, the source of your download, your hardware and software and the general Internet traffic.
  4. For Game-Onz 50, once you have exceeded the gaming data quota of 10GB, for further gaming you will be using your rate plan data quota (2GB).
  5. Once all high-speed data quota is consumed, the speed of subsequent data usage will be managed.
  6. The list of our Game-Onz partners is published on our website and may change from time to time.
  7. Any data used for Internet access (such as advertisements and web analytic tools) other than for gaming with our Game-Onz partners will be from your rate plan data quota and not from your Game-Onz data quota.
  8. Any unutilised data quota will not be carried forward to the following month.
  9. Game-Onz is not applicable when you are roaming outside of Malaysia. Standard roaming charges apply.
  10. We will endeavor to utilise only your Game-Onz data quota for gaming purposes. However, there may be instances when your Game-Onz data quota may inadvertently be used even when you are not playing games or your rate plan data quota may unintentionally be used instead of your Game-Onz data quota. These could occur due to a number of reasons including technical issues such as missed configuration or whitelisting of wrong IP address by third parties or due to our Game-Onz partners changing or updating their IP addresses and URL without giving us sufficient notice to update our system. You acknowledge the possibility of these instances happening and agree not to hold us liable.
Mobile Device
  1. Game-Onz is compatible with internet enabled or mobile devices with certain specifications. If your device is incompatible, you may not be able to access our Game-Onz partners’ websites or their games. It is your responsibility to check such compatibility which may be posted on our Game-Onz partners’ website.
Registration and Usage
  1. To use Game-Onz, you may be required to register for a personal account on our Game-Onz partners’ website.
  2. Usage of our Game-Onz partners’ website and provision of your personal data are subject to such partners’ terms and conditions and privacy policies and are used or provided entirely at your own risk.
  3. You warrant and represent that you are accessing Game-Onz for personal non-commercial purposes.
  4. You acknowledge that U Mobile has no control over our Game-Onz partners’ website or the provision of content by our Game-Onz partners. U Mobile does not warrant and in particular does not guarantee the currency, accuracy, authenticity, availability or security of such website or the content, and we disclaim all liability.
  5. You agree that U Mobile does not generally and is not required to monitor our Game-Onz partners’ content. Despite this, we reserve the right to bar any of our partners’ content, if technically feasible, at any time if we believe it to be necessary in order to prevent any breach of applicable laws or regulations.
Payment
  1. Some of our Game-Onz partners may charge you a subscription fee for accessing their services. Where such fees are applicable, they will be borne by you. The methods of payment and fees may differ among our Game-Onz partners and such information will be available on our Game-Onz partners’ website should you wish to subscribe.
Music-Onz
  1. As a limited time promotion, the Plans are bundled with Music-Onz, our free music streaming service. Terms and conditions for Music-Onz apply.

Free MOLPoints with Game-Onz

  1. This Free MOLPoints with Game-Onz promotion (“Promotion”) shall commence from 3 March 2017 and end on 31 August 2017 (“Promotion Period”). Any extension shall be at the sole discretion of U Mobile.
  2. This Promotion is available to U Mobile prepaid subscribers only.
  3. During the Promotion Period, subscribers with active Game-Onz subscription are eligible for free MOLPoints when:
    1. the subscribers purchase any Game-Onz plan again before the current plan expires; or
    2. the current Game-Onz plan is auto-renewed.
  4. The number of Free MOLPoints to be given will vary according to the Game-Onz plan:

    Plan Free MOLPoints
    Game-Onz 18 100
    Game-Onz 50 300
    Game-Onz 70 500

  5. Upon successful repurchase or auto-renew transaction as referred to in Clause 3 above, subscribers will receive an SMS notification with the free MOLPoints PIN number and serial number.
  6. Subscribers can redeem the free MOLPoints at www.mol.com or MOLPoints app using the MOLPoints PIN number and serial number received via SMS.
  7. The free MOLPoints given will expire after 30 days.
  8. Free MOLPoints are non-transferrable and not exchangeable for cash.


General
  1. U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Promotion are final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.
  2. U Mobile may change any of these terms and conditions including terminating or suspending this Promotion and extending the Promotion Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Promotion.
  3. By participating in the Promotion, all participants:-
    1. consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Promotion; and
    2. consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
    3. grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
  4. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Promotion. All participants and if the participants are below 18 years of age, their parents or guardians, agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Promotion.
  5. The subscription and use of U Mobile’s prepaid mobile services are subject to U Mobile’s standard Prepaid Terms and Condition and where applicable, these terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Prepaid Terms and Conditions will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
  6. The Promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Promotion.
