2021 SPM/STPM Special Data Package

The 2021 SPM/STPM Special Data Package (Pakej Data Khas SPM/STPM 2021) is a prepaid data subscription service for your smartphone. It comes with 15GB high-speed data for ALL usages and is valid for 30 days.

This offer will only be available from 6 January till 30 April 2021.

You can subscribe to the 2021 SPM/STPM Special Data Package for RM20/month.

You may use the data for ALL usages on your smartphone (e.g.: to attend online classes, visit educational websites, browsing the web and social networking sites, and video/music streaming).

All U Mobile Prepaid users who are Malaysians born in the years 2001 to 2004, can activate this data plan. U Broadband service subscribers are not eligible for this plan.

There are two ways you can activate this service:

Via MyUMobile App:
STEP 1 – Launch the MyUMobile App
STEP 2 – Select Add-Ons
STEP 3 – Select Pakej Data SPM/STPM

STEP 1 - Dial *118*3*12#
STEP 2 - Select the ‘Subscribe’ option

Subscription begins on your service activation date and will be renewed automatically at the end of 30 days (plan renewal is subject to the minimum balance in your prepaid account).

Yes, you will receive SMS notifications 2 days and 1 day before your auto-renewal is due, and another SMS once your subscription is renewed.

Yes, you will receive an SMS notification on your subscription status.

Your data speed will be managed once your data quota is fully utilised. However, you may purchase Booster Add-Ons (e.g.: Data Booster 5) for extra quota by dialling *118*3*12*2# or by visiting the MyUMobile App.

2021 SPM/STPM Special Data Package (Pakej Data Khas SPM/STPM 2021)

  1. The “2021 SPM/STPM Special Data Package (Pakej Data Khas SPM/STPM 2021)” (“Data Package”) is a data service which offers 15GB high-speed data with 30 days validity, available from 6 January 2021 until 30 April 2021 the ("Campaign Period").

  2. The Data Package is available to:

    1. U Mobile prepaid subscribers only and is not available to U Broadband subscribers, and

    2. Malaysian subscribers who were born in year 2001 until 2004.

  3. Subscribers who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have obtained the consent of their parents or guardians to subscribe to the Data Package.

  4. The Data Package cannot be transferred to any other mobile number.

  5. The Data Package is provided according to the U Mobile Prepaid Terms and Conditions. You must comply with those terms, our Privacy Notice, and these additional terms and conditions (collectively, the "Terms") all of which are available on www.u.com.my.

  6. We reserve the right to discontinue offering the Data Package, modify or otherwise change these Terms including the charges.

  7. The Data Package cannot be combined with any other offers unless expressly stated.

    8. Activation and Charges

    1. You may activate the Data Package by dialling *118# (UMB) or via MyUMobile App.

    2. Before you activate, you must have a minimum credit balance of RM20.

    3. The activation fee applicable for the Data Package is RM20. We will deduct amount from your credit balance whether or not the activation was authorized by you. No refunds or request for credit will be entertained.

    4. The validity period is 30 days from activation. On its expiry, your subscription will be automatically renewed only if you have the minimum credit balance specified in paragraph 2 (Activation and Charges).

    5. You may unsubscribe the Data Package via UMB at *118*3*12*4#. Any unused data will be forfeited upon the Data Package termination.

    6. Upon the expiry of the Campaign Period, the Data Package will cease to be available for activation and automatic renewal. However, you may continue using your subscribed Data Package until its expiry date.

    Data Service

    1. By subscribing the Data Package, you will enjoy 15GB high speed data usage for all Internet usage. After the quota is fully utilised, data speed will be managed. You have the option to purchase Booster Add-Ons services for additional quota.

    2. Peer-to peer (P2P) usage is up to 64kbps.

    3. U Mobile at its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right at any time without being liable to you to suspend or terminate the Data Package if you are found to be in violation of the Terms.

    4. The data service is subject to network limitations and availability and device capability. Your actual download speed and data capacity will vary and may be slower and are affected but not limited, by your distance from our mobile tower, the capacity of our mobile tower, the source of your download, your handset type and quality, the general Internet traffic and coverage availability.

    5. All subscribers and if the subscribers are below 18 years of age, their parents or guardians, agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of subscription of the Data Package.
