Free Daily 1GB Productivity Internet for 24 hours

Yes it is. As many Malaysians will continue to work and learn from home, and in alignment with the government’s short-term recovery plan, U Mobile Sdn Bhd (“U Mobile”) will continue to support the rakyat’s work and learning needs. This offer is dedicated for access to a range of productivity and information-related services.

To continue supporting productivity-related services, U Mobile in partnership with MCMC, has decided to extend the free daily 1GB Productivity Internet offering to 24 hours from the existing 8AM to 6PM.

Active customers can enjoy it from 1 July 2020 until 31 December 2020, subject to technical readiness.

All active Postpaid and Prepaid (except WeChatGo) U Mobile customers will be able to enjoy this service.

This offer is available until 31 December 2020.

The daily 1GB will be automatically activated for all eligible customers starting 1st July 2020.

New customers to U Mobile will receive a one-time SMS when it is activated.

Usage on productivity and information-related services will utilise the free daily 1GB Productivity Internet first. Once your free daily 1GB Productivity quota is exhausted, your existing data plan quota will be utilised.

Any unused data from the day will not be carried forward to the next day.

U Mobile will continue to offer free and unlimited access to a range of information-related apps and services to ensure Malaysians stay updated with the latest credible news on COVID-19.

You will continue to enjoy zero-rated unlimited access to the following applications and services for the same duration: Gerak Malaysia, MySejahtera and MyTrace applications, and important health and news sources such as the Ministry of Health (MOH) and World Health Organisation (WHO) websites; plus, you’ll enjoy free calls to the Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CRPC) hotline.
