CreditSOS Service

CreditSOS service allows eligible U Mobile Prepaid subscribers to advance prepaid credit from U Mobile on an emergency basis.

The Service is made available to all Active U Mobile Prepaid subscribers (“Active” means able to make and receive calls) who have subscribed to U Mobile Prepaid for a minimum tenure of 4 months based on your eligibility as determined by U Mobile. This service is not applicable for U Mobile WeChat Go starter pack subscribers.

CreditSOS is offered with following credit advance amount and validity options as below:

There are 3 subscription types as below. The Emergency Top Up amount entitlement will be based on your eligibility as determined by U Mobile.

  1. Subscribers can request for One Off subscription:

    1. Via SMS by sending to 28120 with keyword below :

      SOS2 To request for CreditSOS Emergency Top Up value RM 2 with validity 2 days from subscription date
      SOS3 To request for CreditSOS Emergency Top Up value RM 3 with validity 3 days from subscription date
      SOS5 To request for CreditSOS Emergency Top Up value RM 5 with validity 5 days from subscription date
      SOS To request for CreditSOS highest eligible Emergency Top Up value

  2. Subscriber can request for Automated Subscription:

    1. Via SMS by sending to 28120 with keyword below:

      OFF ACR To unsubscribe to Automated CreditSOS Credit subscription

    2. Via UMB by typing 118*3*8#

  3. By subscribing to the automated subscription, the Emergency Top Up will be granted automatically whenever your Prepaid credit balance reaches RM1.00 threshold. However, the Emergency Top Up amount may vary each time based on your eligibility as determined by U Mobile.

  4. Offer from U Mobile:

    Once your Prepaid credit balance reaches RM1.00 threshold, eligible subscribers will receive an SMS offer from U Mobile.

Emergency Top Up amount will be credited into your account immediately upon successful request. You will receive a confirmation notice from U Mobile. You may also send BAL to 28120 or dial *118*3*8*3# to check your latest balance.

CreditSOS Emergency Top Up amount together with service fee will be deducted upon subscriber’s next top up(s).

You can only subscribe to ONE CreditSOS service at a time. You need to fully settle outstanding amount before subscribing to another CreditSOS service.

CreditSOS Emergency Top Up amount together with service fee will be auto deducted from subscriber’s next top up. If the top up amount is lesser than outstanding CreditSOS amount, it will be deducted from subsequent top up(s), until the full amount has been fully repaid.

CreditSOS repayment will be performed upon subscriber’s next top up. You will receive CreditSOS payment confirmation SMS from U Mobile. You may also send BAL to 28120 or dial *118*3*8*3# to check your latest unpaid amount.

No. You will be required to settle outstanding CreditSOS amount first.
