What is the U Mobile Device Care Program?
U Mobile Device Care lets you swap your protected device at any time, as long as it’s in your possession and not lost or stolen. No proof of damage is required.
Who can join, and what are covered?
All U Mobile Postpaid mass and Enterprise subscribers who purchase a new device with U SaveMore or U PayLater can sign up for Device Care within 30 days of their contract start date. This applies to devices bought from August 2025 onwards.
I bought a device with U Mobile earlier. Why I cannot join?
Device Care is only for new sign-ups from August 2025. But do not worry as we are working on something for existing customers too. Stay tuned!
How do I sign up?
Step 1: Purchase any device with U PayLater or U SaveMore.
Step 2: Pair it with a Device Care plan within 30 days of your purchase via MyUMobile App.
Step 3: Request a swap anytime at Device Care Service Portal umobile.devicecare.bolttech.my.
Where can I subscribe, and when will my subscription start?
Subscribe at any U Mobile store, MyUMobile App or Online Store. Your may check the subscription details via the MyUMobile App.
How long is the subscription and how will I be charged?
Device Care is a monthly subscription that auto-renews and will be billed directly to your U Mobile account.

What is the monthly subscription fee?
It is based on your phone’s recommended retail price (RRP) at the time of purchase. Kindly refer to the price list here.
Are there any promotions for new subscribers?
Yes! Enjoy the first 3 months free when you sign-up. Your monthly charges will begin from the 4th month onwards.
Is the fee prorated if I subscribe mid-bill cycle?
No, the full monthly fee applies from your sign-up date.

Can I request a service during the free trial?
Yes! You can swap your device anytime. No questions asked.
Is there a grace period after sign up?
No, your benefits are available immediately upon activation.
Do I need to return the box and accessories for a swap?
No, you only need to return the device. The box, cables, earphones, and other accessories aren’t required.

How many service requests can I make within 12-month period?
You can request up to 2 swaps within any continuous 12-month period.

Bolttech manages all logistics, including device pick-up and delivery. Timelines range from 6 business hours to 5 business days, depending on your location.

Device provided through a service request come with a warranty, starting from the day you received your device
Will I receive confirmation of my request?
Yes, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Bolttech (umobile.devicecare@bolttech.my). You can also check your request status on the Device Care Service Portal umobile.devicecare.bolttech.my.

No, there are no penalty fees for cancellation.
Can I reactivate my subscription after cancellation?
No, once cancelled, the same device IMEI cannot be reactivated as per the Device Care Terms & Conditions.
