#UCubaTry 7-Day Network Trial
  1. This U Mobile "#UCubaTry Campaign” (Campaign) by U Mobile Sdn Bhd ("U Mobile") will commence at 00:00 on 23 April 2019 and continue until further notice ("Campaign Period").

  2. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below ("Terms and Conditions"). This #UCubaTry plan is available as a stand-alone service ("#UCubaTry Plan") and is supplied according to the Terms of Service in our Postpaid Sign-Up Form which includes our Fair Usage Policy and Privacy Policy, these additional terms and conditions and any add-on services such as voice or SMS Postpaid Add-on Packs which are governed by separate terms and conditions (collectively, the "Terms") all of which are available on www.u.com.my.

  3. Campaign Eligibility

    1. This Campaign is open to all Malaysians who are at least 18 years of age on the date of registration of the #UCubaTry Plan.

    2. Each participant can only apply for #UCubaTry Plan once with MyKad during the Campaign Period. Other ID types such as Police ID, Army ID or passport are not accepted.

  4. Campaign Mechanics

    1. In order to participate in the Campaign, you must apply for the #UCubaTry Plan and pay RM99.00 as a deposit ("Deposit"). All applications are subject to U Mobile’s approval.

    2. You are entitled to 7 days free trial of #UCubaTry Plan upon activation ("Trial Period").

    3. If we do not receive your request to terminate #UCubaTry Plan during the Trial Period before 11.59 p.m of day 7 ("Cut-Off Date"), we will automatically convert your #UCubaTry Plan into Unlimited Hero P99 Plan ("P99 Plan") on day 8.

    4. Once your #UCubaTry Plan is converted into P99 Plan on day 8, the Deposit will not be refunded and will be converted into the payment for the first month’s Access Fee under P99 Plan.

    5. If you do not wish to convert #UCubaTry Plan into P99 Plan, you are required to terminate #UCubaTry via u.my/mbg before the Cut-Off Date.

    6. The Terms and Conditions for P99 Plan takes effect upon conversion from #UCubaTry Plan to P99 Plan.

  5. #UCubaTry Plan Offer

    1. Unlimited high speed data for domestic usage, exclude peer-to-peer usage (P2P) and roaming usage.

    2. Unlimited Video-Onz at standard definition.

    3. Unlimited voice call to domestic call to mobile number, fixed line and calls to 1318. #UCubaTry Plan call service excludes special or premium number, video calls, MMS, International Direct Dial (IDD), international Roaming and Voicemail (1311).

    4. 30GB Hotspot data. All tethering from mobile phone will be consumed from Hotspot data quota.

    5. Participant must only use the voice service strictly as part of normal everyday mobile voice usage and not for commercial use. In amplification of the Fair Usage Policy, #UCubaTry Plan shall not be:
      • re-sold, rented or utilised in any other way;

      • used for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, application-to-person communication, continuous calling for extended period of time, auto-dialling, machine-to-machine communication;

      • used for wholesale or for SIM boxing or aggregate minutes on our network;

      • used in connection with a device, software or application which re-routes calls;

      • used to set up switch devices which could keep a line open potentially for hours and limiting the ability for other customers to access our network; or
      • used for any other activity that U Mobile considers to be non-standard usage.

    6. In addition to our other rights and remedies, we may suspend or end trial your #UCubaTry Plan if you breach any of the Terms.

    7. Under #UCubaTry Plan, Participant is not allowed to

      • Activate International Direct Dial and International Roaming service.

      • Send SMS

      • Subscribe to any content services via 3rd party. If you do, any subscription will be charged to you and if the #UCubaTry Plan is terminated before the Cut-Off Date, such subscription charge will be deducted from the Deposit;

      • Port out to other operators.

      • sign up any device plans.

  6. Termination

    You can terminate the #UCubaTry Plan before the Cut-Off Date via u.com/mbg or by visiting any U Mobile Service Centre for assistance.

  7. Refund

    Subject to our right to deduct any subscription charges from the Deposit under Clause 5(g) above and provided you have furnished all information which is up to date and correct, U Mobile will refund the Deposit in full within 14 working days upon termination if we receive your termination request before the Cut-Off Date provided that .

  8. Participant’s Responsibilities

    It is your responsibility to provide up to date and correct information and documents for the purpose of refund of Deposit by U Mobile. Failure to do so may result in delay of the refund process. The following information is mandatory for refund purpose:
    1. Name as per NRIC.

    2. NRIC

    3. #UCubaTry number to be terminated.

    4. Contactable mobile number after termination.

    5. Correct Bank Account information.
