To purchase the Prepaid plan, subscribers must:
i. Login to any participating Online Channels
ii. Select the Prepaid plans that you wish to subscribe
iii. Key in mobile number and make the necessary payment
iv. A confirmation SMS will be sent by U Mobile to you to confirm successful subscription.
Weekly Plan: GX12
Monthly Plans: GX30, UMI30, UMI36, UMI50, GT30, GX38
If you are already subscribed to an existing data or call plan, any purchase of a new Prepaid plan will override the existing data or call plan. Any unused quota or minutes will be forfeited.
Eg. Any unused quota and minutes for existing UMI 50 will be forfeited when UMI 30 is purchased. You will only be entitled to the allocated data and minutes of the latest UMI purchased.

Online channel – only 1 step required which is purchase and subscription will be done automatically from backend.
Other channels – 2 steps required which is purchase top up and subscribe to the plan manually by subscribers.
Yes. You will receive an SMS notification on your subscription status. Alternatively, u may check via UMB 118 or U Mobile’s mobile app on the plan u purchased.

Yes. You can purchase the Prepaid plan for your family/friends via online channels.

Non-Malaysians are not eligible for this. They will need to top up & subscribe manually by dialling *118# or MyUMobile app.
If you are subscribing to a Prepaid plan for a third party, you are solely responsible to inform the third party that you are subscribing to the Prepaid plan on behalf of him. U Mobile will not be responsible for any complaints made by the third party.
Your subscription will be auto-renewed (subject to minimum balance in your prepaid account to renew your UMI plan) based on your 1st service activation date. You will receive SMS notifications 2 days and 1 day before your auto-renewal is due, and another SMS when your subscription is renewed.
