Terms and Conditions for U Biz 5G Discount Launch Promo

U Biz 5G Promo Discount Launch Campaign (“Campaign”) by U Mobile Sdn. Bhd. Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U) (“U Mobile”) will commence at 9.00 am on 23 June 2023 and will continue until further notice (“Campaign Period”).
By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
Campaign Eligibility
1. This Campaign is open to Malaysians with valid national registration identification card (“NRIC”) and non-Malaysians residing in Malaysia with a valid passport; who are at least 18 years old.
2. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any application by any participant without assigning any reason.
Campaign Mechanics
1. To participate in this Campaign, you are required to sign up for U Biz 5G plan offered by U Mobile (“U Biz 5G Plan”) during the Campaign Period.
Reward
1. Participants who fulfil the requirement of paragraph 4 above shall be entitled to receive the following discounted monthly fees for the U Biz 5G Plan (“Reward”) effective from the service activation date (“Reward Period”):

1. If you terminate your U Biz 5G Plan or change your U Biz 5G Plan to any other U Mobile postpaid plan during the Reward Period, you will not be entitled to receive the Reward from the date of the termination or change.

General
1. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions and may terminate, suspend this Campaign. Any such change will be announced on our website or social media. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.
2. By participating in the Campaign, all participants: -
  1. consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign;
  2. consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile Group sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
  3. grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
3. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All participants agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
4. The subscription and use of U Biz 5G plan is subject to U Mobile’s U Biz 5G terms and conditions (“U Biz 5G Terms and Conditions”), terms of service of our Postpaid Service and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, between U Biz 5G Terms and Conditions, terms of service of our Postpaid Service and these Terms and Conditions, the conflict will be resolved in the following descending order:
  1. the U Biz 5G Terms and Conditions;
  2. the terms of service of our Postpaid Service; and
  3. these Terms and Conditions.
5. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
