Anyone who purchases a new ULTRA Prepaid SIM Pack or port-in to U Mobile is eligible to the ULTRA Prepaid Rate Plan.
Yes. You can change via MyUMobile App or UMB (dial *118#) for free. Any remaining credit balance will be carried over. However, all freebies, packages and validity will be forfeited. You will have 7 days active period upon successful Rate Plan change.
You may follow the steps below:
Step 1: Launch the MyUMobile App & tap the menu bar button located at the top left corner.
Step 2: Click your plan name (e.g., 5G-Ready Prepaid, Unlimited FUNZ, Unlimited Power, Power Prepaid) located below your name & mobile number.
Step 3: Tap on Switch Plan.
Step 4: Tap on Switch my Prepaid Plan, then tap Confirm.
No, you cannot revert to your previous Rate Plan once you are on the ULTRA Prepaid Rate Plan.
The 20GB Data with Unlimited Speed will be automatically activated once your Prepaid SIM Pack is activated. It will be valid for 7 days.

Local calls are charged at 30 sen per minute, and SMS is charged at 15 sen each. The charging block for calls is 60 seconds per block.
Simply top up your account to stay active. Every RM1 top-up is equivalent to 1 day of active period. The maximum active period at any one time is 365 days.
The Prepaid SIM Pack comes with 7 days of active period and 60 days of passive period.
Passive Period is a grace period granted to subscribers whose plan has been deemed inactive due to not topping up. During your account's Passive Period, you will not be able to make calls, send SMS or browse the Internet, but you can receive incoming calls and SMS. To make calls and send SMS again, please perform a top up. To avoid service cancellation, please top up before the end of the Passive Period.

For any self-activation via MyUMobile App from 7th April 2026, your activated Prepaid Rate Plan will be the ULTRA Prepaid Rate Plan that comes with 7 Days Validity, 20GB Data with Unlimited Speed, Calls and Free Hotspot.
If you have activated the SIM Pack and you are still on 5G-Ready Prepaid Rate Plan, you can change via MyUMobile App or UMB (dial *118#) for free.
