The free Unlimited 5G Weekends will be auto provisioned and allow you to experience Ultra-fast 5G/4G speeds every weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
The 5G/4G speed will only be enabled from 00:00 Saturday to 23:59 Sunday. You will enjoy 5G or 4G speed based on the best network available in your area.
Your speed will remain at 512kbps as the FUP limit has been reached. To continue enjoying uncapped speeds with the Unlimited 5G Weekends, you can repurchase any of the U Prepaid 25, 35, or 40 plans, or subscribe to any of the Weekly Passes.
All subscribers on the new 5G-Ready Prepaid Rate Plan may subscribe to these data plans. Older rate plans such as Unlimited FUNZ, Power Prepaid, U Mobile Broadband service subscribers can upgrade to 5G-Ready Prepaid Rate Plan via MyUMobile App or UMB (dial *118#).
Unlimited Data on U Prepaid 25 is meant for personal use and does not come with hotspot quotas. To enjoy hotspot, you may opt for U Prepaid 35 (10GB Hotspot) or U Prepaid 40 & 50 (200GB Hotspot). Alternatively, you may purchase our Hotspot Add-Ons at RM5/30 Days here.
The U Prepaid 35 plan comes with 10GB Hotspot at 24Mbps while the U Prepaid 40 & 50 plans come with 200GB Hotspot at 48Mbps & 1000Mbps, respectively.
The FUP for U Prepaid 25 is 40GB. Upon reaching the FUP, you can still enjoy mobile data at a managed speed of 512kbps.
The U Prepaid 35, 40, and 50 Data plans come with Fair Usage Policy (FUP) of 200GB. All data utilisation including Unlimited 5G Weekends and Hotspot is subject to the 200GB FUP. Upon reaching the FUP limits, users will be informed that they will be surfing at a reduced speed of 512kbps until the plan expires. There’s no quota limit for surfing at reduced speed. The reduced speed still allows fairly good user experience for video streaming on standard definition, social media apps, music apps, internet browsing, etc.
There is no data quota cap for U Prepaid 25, 35, 40, and 50. You will stay connected even after reaching the limit according to our Fair Usage Policy.

Yes. You will receive an SMS notification on your subscription status.
If your subscription fails to automatically renew, it could be because you have insufficient balance, or your account is in a passive period. The system will attempt to renew the subscription again after 24 hours.

No, you will not be able to subscribe to or auto renew during a passive period.
