CreditSOS service allows eligible U Mobile Prepaid subscribers to request prepaid credit advance from U Mobile on an emergency basis.
This service is available to all U Mobile Prepaid subscribers who have subscribed to U Mobile Prepaid for a minimum of 3 months. This service is not available to U Mobile WeChat Go starter pack subscribers.
CreditSOS is offers the following options for advance credit amounts and validity:

There are 3 subscription types, which you can see below. The Emergency Top-Up amount that you can request for is based on your eligibility, which is determined by U Mobile.

3. Subscribers can receive an offer from U Mobile:
Once your prepaid credit balance reaches RM2.50, eligible subscribers will receive an SMS offer from U Mobile.
The Emergency Top-Up amount will be credited into your account instantly once you make a successful request. You will receive a confirmation notice from U Mobile. You may also send BAL to 28120 or dial *118*3*8*3# to check your latest balance.
The CreditSOS Emergency Top-Up amount will be deducted from your balance the next time you top up, along with the service fee.
You can only subscribe to one CreditSOS service at a time. Once you subscribe, you need to fully settle your outstanding amount before subscribing again.
The CreditSOS Emergency Top-Up amount together with service fee will be auto-deducted from your next top-up. If your top-up amount is less than your outstanding CreditSOS amount, your CreditSOS Emergency Top-up amount will be deducted from your subsequent top-ups as well, until the full amount has been fully repaid.
When you make your next top-up, you will receive a CreditSOS payment confirmation SMS from U Mobile. You may also send BAL to 28120 or dial *118*3*8*3# to check your latest unpaid amount.
No. You will be required to settle the outstanding CreditSOS amount first.
Yes, you can still switch to another prepaid plan. Your outstanding CreditSOS amount will be carried forward to your new prepaid account.
No. You have to settle your outstanding CreditSOS amount before switching to a U Mobile Postpaid plan.
Yes, an Emergency Top-Up amount will be credited into your prepaid account automatically whenever your balance reaches RM1.00 and below. However, it is still subject to your eligibility at that time, and you must not have any outstanding CreditSOS amount.
Yes, just dial *118*3*8*1# to request for the service. Alternatively, you can subscribe using SMS if you are roaming with our roaming partner. For a full list of our roaming partners, please go to u.com.my/plans/roaming-idd/roaming-rates.
If you subscribe via SMS when you are in Malaysia, you will not be charged for the SMS. However, you will be charged for the SMS if you subscribe via SMS while roaming. The SMS fee depends on the roaming country and operator that you have selected. For the full list of charges, please go to u.com.my/plans/roaming-idd/roaming-rates.
No. You have to pay back your CreditSOS amount by topping up your prepaid account.
Send OFF to 28120 to stop receiving messages offering the CreditSOS service.
Send ON to 28120 to request to receive messages offering the CreditSOS service.
The prepaid account validity period will follow the longest validity period.
For example, your existing prepaid account is valid until 20 March 2020. On 18 March 2020, you subscribe for an Emergency Top-Up of RM5, which has a validity period of 5 days. The new expiry date for your credit will be 18 March 2020 + 5 days = 23 March 2020. However, if your existing prepaid account is valid until 20 March 2020, and you subscribe for an Emergency Top-Up of RM5 on 10th March 2020, your prepaid account will still be valid until 20 March 2020.
