For Malaysian citizens who register for a U Mobile Prepaid line using either MyKad, NRIC, Malaysian Army or Malaysian Police Identity Card, you will only be charged the prepaid top-up amount WITHOUT any additional charges.
However, for non-Malaysian citizens, prepaid top-ups are subject to 6% Service Tax as per examples below:

Yes, you can top up for your friends and family who are existing U Mobile prepaid customers.
No, you can only use Prepaid Top Up to top up U Mobile Prepaid numbers.
Bulk top-up is not possible currently.
Once you top up successfully, we will send a notification with a digital receipt to your email address provided to us.
Every RM1 top up is equivalent to 1 day extension of active period from the day of top up. The maximum active period is 365 days. Please refer to examples below:
Scenario 1: If you top up RM50 today, your active period will be extended by 50 days from today.
Scenario 2: If you top up RM50 today, your active period will be extended by 50 days from today. If you top up another RM50 tomorrow, your active period will be extended by 50 days from tomorrow.
Scenario 3: If you top up RM50 today, your active period will be extended by 50 days from today. If you top up another RM30 tomorrow, there will be no changes to your active period.
Scenario 4: If you top up RM30 today & RM50 later on the same day, your active period will be extended by 50 days from today.
Scenario 5: If you top up RM50 today & RM30 later on the same day, your active period will be extended by 50 days from today.
