Terms & Conditions

General
 

1. The ULTRA Prepaid Borneo ("ULTRA Prepaid Borneo”) is an Unlimited Prepaid plan available in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan. The following Table sets out the detailed offer of the ULTRA Prepaid Borneo:

2. The ULTRA Prepaid Borneo is available to U Mobile Prepaid 5G Plan subscribers only. All other prepaid subscribers and mobile broadband subscribers will not be able to subscribe to the ULTRA Prepaid Borneo.
   
   
3. The ULTRA Prepaid Borneo cannot be transferred to any other mobile number.
   
   
4. The ULTRA Prepaid Borneo is provided according to the U Mobile Prepaid Terms and Conditions and the Prepaid 5G Plan Terms and Conditions. You must comply with those terms, our Privacy Notice, and these additional terms and conditions (collectively, the "Terms") all of which are available on www.u.com.my.
   
   
5. We reserve the right to discontinue offering the ULTRA Prepaid Borneo, modify or otherwise change these Terms including the charges.
   
   
6. The ULTRA Prepaid Borneo cannot be combined with any other offers unless expressly stated.
   
   

Activation and Charges
 

1. You may activate the ULTRA Prepaid Borneo on your mobile device:
   
   
   1. via MyUMobile App’s Add-ons section; or
      
   2. by dialing *118#
   3. via eShop
      
      
2. Before you activate or renew your ULTRA Prepaid Borneo subscription, you must have the following minimum credit balance for the Data Plan:

3. The activation fee for the ULTRA Prepaid Borneo is as follow:

4. We will deduct the activation fee from your credit balance regardless of whether the activation was authorized by you. No refunds or request for credit will be entertained.
    

5. The validity period for the ULTRA Prepaid Borneo is 30 days from activation. On its expiry, your subscription will be automatically renewed only if you have the minimum credit balance specified in paragraph 2 of Section B (Activation and Charges).
    

6. If you have insufficient credit balance, your subscription will be terminated.
    

7. You may activate as many  ULTRA Prepaid Borneo as you like. Any unused data will be forfeited upon renewal or reactivation.
    

8. If you wish to terminate the  ULTRA Prepaid Borneo, you can dial *118# to stop the auto renewal.
    

9. Any unused data will be forfeited upon  ULTRA Prepaid Borneo termination. Subsequent data usage will be charged according to the relevant prepaid rate plans.

Data Service
 

1. By subscribing to the Prepaid Borneo U20, you will enjoy unlimited data usage and speed based on the Table under paragraph 1 of Section A (General) above. The ULTRA Prepaid Borneo include unlimited video and music streaming at standard definition.
   
   
2. All data usage on the ULTRA Prepaid Borneo (including hotspot usages) is subject to our high-speed data quota as specified in the following Table:
    

1. 1. If your usage location is within Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan, your data usage will be drawn from the High-speed data quota for Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan first and followed by the FUP quota for Nationwide. 
      
      
   2. If your usage location is outside of Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan, your data usage will be drawn from the high-speed data quota for Nationwide only.
      
      

2. Upon depleting the High-speed data quota, the speed will be reduced to 512 Kbps. There is no quota limit for browsing on reduced speed. 
    

3. Peer-to-peer (P2P) usage is up to 64kbps.
    

4. For non-mobile hotspot usage, you can use the  ULTRA Prepaid Borneo via smartphones only and no other devices including MiFi and USB dongle. U Mobile may from time to time change the device requirement for the  ULTRA Prepaid Borneo based on its discretion.
    

5. U Mobile at its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right at any time without being liable to you to suspend or terminate the ULTRA Prepaid Borneo  if you are found to be in violation of the Terms.
    

6. The data service which provides access to the Internet and related services via our 4G/5G network only and is only available to customers within our 4G/5G network coverage area. The Service is subject to network limitations and availability and device capability. You cannot use the Service to connect to the Internet outside of our 4G/5G network coverage area. 7. The data service is subject to network limitations and availability and device capability. Your actual download speed and data capacity will vary and may be slower and are affected but not limited, by your distance from our mobile tower, the capacity of our mobile tower, the source of your download, your handset type and quality, the general Internet traffic and coverage availability.
    

8. When there is a network failure, your normal (non-hotspot) data usage may inadvertently be deducted from your mobile hotspot quota. You acknowledge the possibility of this happening and agree not to hold us liable.

Voice Service
 

1. The voice service applies to domestic mobile, domestic fixed on-net and off-net usage and excludes video calls, MMS, International Direct Dial (IDD), International Roaming, Voicemail (1311) or calls to special numbers/premium numbers (e.g.: 1300 / 1500 / 1508 / 1600 / 1700 / 1900 / 103, 800 & 15999), 02-prefix numbers for border calls to Singapore and 080-prefix numbers for border calls to Brunei.
   
   
2. You must only use the voice service strictly as part of normal everyday mobile voice usage and not for commercial use. The Data Plan shall not be:
   
   
   1. re-sold, rented or utilised in any other way;
      
      
   2. used for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, application-to-person communication, continuous calling for extended period of time, auto-dialling, machine-to-machine communication;
      
      
   3. used for wholesale or for SIM boxing or aggregate minutes on our network;
      
      
   4. used in connection with a device, software or application which re-routes calls;
      
      
   5. used to set up switch devices which could keep a line open potentially for hours and limiting the ability for other customers to access our network; or
      
      
   6. used for any other activity that U Mobile considers to be non-standard usage.
      
      
3. In addition to our other rights and remedies, we may suspend or terminate your Prepaid Borneo U20 if you breach any of the Terms and any unused credit balance shall be forfeited.
