1. CreditSOS allows eligible U Mobile Prepaid subscribers access to receive advance prepaid credit from U Mobile on an emergency basis (“Service”).
2. By subscribing to the Service, you agree to these terms of service and the terms applicable to the relevant U Mobile Prepaid terms and conditions including our Privacy Notice, all of which are available on https://www.u.com.my/tnc (collectively, the “Terms”).
a. The Service is made available to all U Mobile Prepaid subscribers who have subscribed to U Mobile Prepaid for a minimum tenure of 2 months based on your eligibility as determined by U Mobile.
b. The Service is not applicable for U Mobile WeChat Sim pack subscribers.
4. Service Subscription and Fees
a. The Service involves the CreditSOS credit advance (“Credit Advance”) amounts which are subject to the service fee and validity options as set out below:

To request for the Service, you can subscribe as follows:
a. One Off Subscription:
A. Via SMS by sending to 28120 using the keyword below:-

|OFF||To request to stop receive CreditSOS offering message.|
|BAL||To enquire for CreditSOS unpaid Emergency Top Up amount.|
B (i). For Active U Mobile Prepaid subscribers (“Active” means able to make and receive call): Via UMB by typing *118*86*1# or *118*3*8# :-

(ii). For Passive U Mobile Prepaid subscriber (“Passive” means not able to access the internet, make outgoing calls and SMS): Via UMB by typing *118*804#:-:

By subscribing to the automated subscription, the Credit Advance will be granted automatically whenever your Prepaid credit balance reaches the threshold value as determined by U Mobile (“threshold value”). However, the Credit Advance amount may vary each time based on your eligibility as determined by U Mobile.
ii. Offer From U Mobile
Once your Prepaid credit balance reaches the threshold value, eligible subscribers will receive an SMS offer from U Mobile. The offered Credit Advance amount will be based on your eligibility as determined by U Mobile.
5. Credit Advance
a. Repayment of the Credit Advance and service fee (“Outstanding Amount) will be automatically deducted from your next Prepaid top up. If your Prepaid top up amount is less than the Outstanding Amount, the remaining balance of the Outstanding Amount will be deducted from subsequent Prepaid top up, until the amount is fully repaid. If you have Outstanding Amount from more than 1 Credit Advance subscription, your Prepaid top up amount will first be utilised to settle your earliest Credit Advance subscription’s Outstanding Amount and followed by subsequent Credit Advance subscription(s)’s Outstanding Amount.
b. You are allowed to subscribe to more than 1 Credit Advance at a time subject to your eligibility at the time of subscription request as determined by U Mobile.
c. Any airtime received via CreditShare service will not entitled to be used to offset the Outstanding Amount.
d. Upon subscription of the Service, service fee will be charged even if the Credit Advance is not utilised. No refund will be entertained.
e. Your Credit Advance balance will expire and will be forfeited if you switch to other U Mobile prepaid plans or if you port out to other telecommunication operators. The Outstanding Amount will be carried forward to new U Mobile Prepaid plan account.
f. You will be required to settle all Outstanding Amount if you wish to terminate your Prepaid account or switch to U Mobile Postpaid plan.
g. If you subscribe for the Service via SMS when you are in Malaysia, there is no charge for the SMS. However, any subscription to the Service via SMS while roaming the SMS will be charged. The charges will depend on the roaming countries and operators that you have selected. For the full list, please visit u.com.my/international roaming /roaming- overseas.
h. The Prepaid account validity period will follow the longest validity period. If the subscribed Credit Advance validity period is longer than the remaining validity period of your Prepaid account, the new expiry date will be calculated by adding the subscribed Credit Advance validity period to the Credit Advance’s subscription date. Otherwise, there will be no changes in the Prepaid account expiry date.
As an illustration, your existing Prepaid account’s validity period is until 20th March 2020. You subscribe for Credit Advance of RM5 (with validity period of 5 days) on 18th of March 2020. The new expiry date will be 18th March 2020 + 5 days = 23rd March 2020. However, If your existing Prepaid account validity period is until 20th March 2020, and you subscribe for the Credit Advance of RM5 (with validity of 5 days on 10th March 2020), there will be no changes on the existing Prepaid account validity date.
i. We may change the Service (including any of its features and functionalities) at any time and any of the Terms from time to time. Any change of the Terms will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check the Terms on our website.
j. We may stop allowing you to use the Service, with or without notice for any reason whatsoever, including if we suspect that there is fraudulent or unauthorized use or for any operational reasons.
a. The Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from the Terms.
b. If there is any conflict between these Terms, the Prepaid plan terms and conditions and the privacy notice, the conflict will be resolved in the following descending order:
(a) the Prepaid plan Terms and Conditions;
(b) the privacy notice; and
(c) these terms of service.
c. References to “us”, “our” or “we” mean U Mobile Sdn Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U).
