TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR UPGRADE CAMPAIGN
1. This Postpaid Chinese New Year Upgrade Campaign ("Campaign") is organised by U Mobile Sdn Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U) ("U Mobile") which will commence at 10.00 am on 5 Feb 2026 and will end at 11.59 pm on 5 Mar 2026 ("Campaign Period").
2. All entries received before or after the Campaign Period will be automatically disqualified.
3. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below ("Terms and Conditions").
4. Campaign Eligibility
a. This Campaign is open to selected eligible Active U Mobile subscribers only (Corporate account not included):
I. are Active principal line holders (“Active” means able to make and receive calls);
II. are of age 18 years and above; and
III. received an SMS from U Mobile (“Notification”); or received MyUMobile app push notification (“MyUMobile App”) for subscribers who have downloaded the MyUMobile App.
b. U Mobile’s employees, agencies, partners, and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in this Campaign.
c. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any entries or disqualify any participant without assigning any reason.
d. Participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have obtained the consent of their parents or guardians to participate in this Campaign.
5. Campaign Mechanics
a. To participate in this campaign, you must upgrade to U Postpaid 68 / U Postpaid 98 or U Family 128.
b. Upgrade by
- replying to the SMS Notification(“Reply”) or
- clicking the ‘Take Up This Deal ‘button in the Exclusive Deal within the MyUMobile App (“Reply”) during the Campaign Period
- walking-in to U Mobile Store, or via U Mobile Telesales agent call.

6. Rewards
a. The additional prizes as specified as below

b. U Mobile will notify the participants of their entitlement to receive the prize via SMS (“Reward Notification”) or Call from U Mobile Agent. U Mobile may use any other method or medium it deems fit to notify the participants of their entitlement to receive the prizes.
c. The guaranteed reward will be credited to all eligible customers who successfully upgraded the plan within 60 days after the campaign ended, U Mobile reserves the right to extend the delivery schedule.
d. The Prizes (Device) will be delivered to the winners within 90 days after the campaign ended, U Mobile reserves the right to extend the delivery schedule.
e. The reward is given on “as is” basis. U Mobile reserves the right to substitute the reward with another reward of similar value at any time without prior notice.
f. The subscribers must ensure that their Postpaid account is Active and have no overdue bill during the Campaign Period and at the point of delivery or redemption of the rewards. “Active” means able to make and receive calls.
g. Subscribers who upgrade/downgrade their rate plan during the Campaign Period / at the point of delivery or redemptions of the rewards / during the 90 days post-campaign will no longer be eligible to enjoy the rewards.
h. The reward is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash, credit or rebate in full or in part, and any prizes shown in U Mobile’s website, U Mobile Facebook page, MyUMobile app, advertisements and Contest materials are for photography or illustration purposes only.
7. General
a .By upgrading your plan, subscribers agree to Minimum Usage Term of 90 days period that begins when Postpaid customer change their sim-only plan to current selling plans. During this period, customers are not allowed to perform downgrade or change to Prepaid.
b. U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Campaign are final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.
c. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions including terminating or suspending this Campaign and extending the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.
d. All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the participants. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All participants and if the participants are below 18 years of age, their parents or guardians agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
e. By participating in the Campaign, all participants: -
(i) consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign.
(ii) consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
(iii) grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
f. The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Prepaid and Postpaid mobile services are subject to U Mobile’s standard Prepaid and Postpaid Terms and Conditions and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Prepaid and Postpaid Terms and Conditions, as the case may be, will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
g. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
