Terms & Conditions

1. The Upgrade & Win iPhone Air with MyUMobile App Campaign (“Campaign”) is organised by U Mobile Sdn. Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U) (“U Mobile”) which commences at 10:00:00 on 10 November 2025 and ends at 23:59:59 on 4 January 2026 (“Campaign Period”).


2. All applications received before or after the Campaign Period will be automatically disqualified.


3. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).


4. Campaign Eligibility
   1. This Campaign is open to selected Active U Mobile Prepaid Plan subscribers only (Corporate account not included) who have received a SMS or push notification for subscribers who have downloaded the MyUMobile App (“Notification”) from U Mobile on the Campaign. “Active” means able to make and receive calls.
   
   
   2. U Mobile’s employees, agencies, partners, and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in this Campaign.
   
   
   3. Participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have obtained the consent of their parents or guardians to participate in this Campaign.
   
   
   4. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any entries or disqualify participants without assigning any reason.


5. Campaign Mechanics
   1. To participate in this Campaign, you must complete the following steps during the Campaign Period:
      
      
      1. Step 1: Sign in to the MyUMobile App using a valid U Mobile mobile number and a registered email address.
      2. Step 2: Upgrade your prepaid plan to any U Mobile postpaid plan via the “Upgrade Plan” feature in the MyUMobile App.
   
   
   2. Only successful plan upgrades performed during the Campaign Period will be eligible for participation
   
   
   3. Upon completing the steps above and meeting the eligibility criteria outlined in paragraph 4 above, you will be deemed a participant in the Campaign (“Qualified Participant”). No entry form or additional registration is required.

6. Prizes
   1. The prizes of this Campaign (“Prizes”) are as follows:

2. Each Qualified Participant (based on their NRIC) is eligible to win only one (1) Prize throughout the Campaign Period.


3. The 88th Qualified Participant of each Campaign week (“Campaign Week”) will be shortlisted (“Shortlisted Participant”) after the end of each Campaign Week.
   
   
   
4. Each Campaign Week runs from Monday to Sunday, within the Campaign Period, as outlined below:
   

5. Each Shortlisted Participant will be contacted within 60 days after the end of each Campaign Week and must correctly answer one (1) trivia question posed by U Mobile. The Shortlisted Participant who manages to provide correct answer will be selected as the winner of the Prize (“Winner”).  


6. A Shortlisted Participant will be disqualified, and the next eligible participant will be contacted, if any of the following occurs:
   
   
   1. The trivia question is not answered correctly after three (3) attempts;
   2. The Shortlisted Participant is not reachable after three (3) voice call attempts; or
   3. The Shortlisted Participant fails to respond within the stipulated timeframe after being notified via SMS, push notification on the MyUMobile App, or any other medium deemed appropriate by U Mobile.
   
   
7. The Prize will be delivered to the Winners within 60 days after the end of the Campaign Period. Delivery timelines may vary depending on stock availability or delivery arrangements. U Mobile reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reschedule the Prize issuance or delivery and may provide prior notice to the Winners.


8. U Mobile reserves the right to disqualify any Winner at its sole discretion in the following circumstances:
   
   
   1. Failure to provide a valid delivery address after two (2) delivery attempts;
   2. Failure to provide the required details or information; or
   3. If there’s evidence or suspicion of fraudulent conduct.


9. The Winner must ensure that its U Mobile postpaid account remains Active and is not suspended or terminated until the Prize has been delivered. The Winner must also remain on the same postpaid rate plan or higher postpaid rate plan. “Active” means able to make and receive calls.


10. The Prizes are given on an "as is" basis and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, in full or in part. U Mobile makes no warranties express or implied, on the quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of the Prizes. U Mobile reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with a voucher or an item of similar value at any time without prior notice. 

7. General
   1. U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Campaign are final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.
   
   
   2. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions including terminating or suspending this Campaign and extending the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is the participant’s responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if the participants do not agree to any of the changes, they must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.
   
   
   3. All Prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the participants. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All participants agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
   
   
   4. By participating in the Campaign, all participants:
      1. consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign; and
      
      
      2. consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
         
   
   
   5. Any consents, indemnities, agreement, undertakings, representations and warranties given under these Terms and Conditions by participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have been given by their parents or guardians.
   
   
   6. The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Prepaid and Postpaid mobile services are subject to U Mobile’s standard Prepaid and Postpaid Terms and Condition and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Prepaid and Postpaid Terms and Conditions will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
   
   
   7. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
