1. 1.1 You can choose to purchase any content, digital service or application (“Services”) from our merchants (“Merchants”) with your device using your U Mobile postpaid or prepaid account (“U Mobile Account”). We will bill you the amount of your purchase in your monthly postpaid bill or deduct the credit from your prepaid account.
1.3 Your use of the Services is subject to the terms of your agreement with the relevant Merchants and their respective privacy policies which may be made available on their webpages.
1.4 You warrant that you are authorised to use your U Mobile Account to purchase the Services.
2. Registration and Usage
2.1 You may need to set up an account with the respective Merchants before you purchase or subscribe to any Services.
2.2 To use your U Mobile Account as your preferred payment method, you must ensure the following:
i. your device must be on U Mobile network; and
ii. your U Mobile Account must be active. If you are a prepaid user, you must have enough credit in your prepaid account to purchase the Services. “Active” means able to make and receive calls.
2.3 If you have previously registered your debit/credit card as your preferred payment method for purchase of any Services, you will be required to change your payment method to U Mobile’s payment method.
2.4 We may stop allowing you to buy Services from the Merchants using your U Mobile Account, for any reason whatsoever, with or without notice including if U Mobile suspects that there is fraudulent or unauthorized use or if our agreement with the Merchants terminate or for any operational reasons.
2.5 If you port your mobile number to another mobile operator, you will not be able to use your U Mobile Account to buy Services but you remain responsible for all fees and charges incurred before porting out. Refunds are not applicable for mobile numbers that have been ported out of U Mobile.
2.6 The Services are not under our control and we are not responsible for, nor do we endorse or have any involvement in the operation of the Services. If you have any issues with the use of the Services, you are required to directly contact the relevant Merchants for assistance.
3. Charges and Payment
3.1 We do not set the Services prices. Prices for the Services are determined by the Merchants and are subject to adjustment or taxes determined by the Merchants.
3.2 If you purchase Services using your U Mobile Account while you are roaming overseas, you will be charged in Ringgit Malaysia based on the price determined by the Merchants.
3.3 When you buy any Services using your U Mobile Account we will charge the transaction amount and any applicable taxes service tax to your postpaid bill or deduct your prepaid credit.
3.4 Mobile data charges (including international data roaming charges) will apply when you use browse, purchase, request for refund or download the Services.
3.5 Postpaid Account
a. If at the time of the purchase of the Services, you are a postpaid subscriber who has subscribed to our postpaid plan:
i. if you are a postpaid subscriber who has been subscribed to U Mobile’s postpaid service for a period of less than 3 months from the time you purchase any Service, U Mobile has the right to limit your Service purchase amount to any amount as may be deemed fit by U Mobile; or
ii. for other postpaid subscribers, you may purchase Services as long as:
A. your total postpaid charges (whether billed or unbilled) do not exceed your credit limit. Since the charges are not reflected on a real-time basis, we may allow you to purchase Services exceeding your credit limit. If we allow you to purchase Services exceeding your credit limit, you are required to remit the charges incurred; and
B. the Services purchased does not exceed:
1. RM250.00 per day. For clarity, the daily purchase limit refers to your purchases made from 00:01 to 23:59 on the same day; and
2. the cumulative value of RM1,000.00 per calendar month. This monthly limit refers to your purchases from the first day of the calendar month until the last day of that month.
b. We may change this monthly limit from time to time.
3.6 Prepaid Account
There is no monthly limit for your purchases. You will be able to purchase Services as long as you have sufficient credit balance in your prepaid account. However, you can only make a purchase of up to RM300.00 per transaction.
3.7 For recurrent subscription based Services, you will be charged via your U Mobile Account for subscription renewals. You are advised to take note of the renewal frequencies and the cancellation option available at the time of subscription. Cancellation must to be done directly with the Merchants in accordance with their relevant cancellation terms.
3.8 Requests for refunds for Services must be made directly with the Merchants within 6 months from the date of the purchase of the Service (“Refund Period”) and are subject to the Merchants’ respective terms and refund policies. For clarity, you will not be entitled to receive any refund for any refund claims made upon expiry of the Refund Period.
3.9 We will only apply a refund or credit your U Mobile Account in relation to a purchase of Services only if directed to do so by the respective Merchants by crediting the amount into your prepaid account (for prepaid subscribers) or reflecting the refund in your following month’s bill (for postpaid subscribers).
4.2 To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with use of your U Mobile Account to buy the Services, your purchase of the Services. If you are below 18 years of age, your parents or guardians, agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or for loss or damage; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising from use of your U Mobile Account to buy the Services, your purchase of the Services and your access to the Services.

4.4 U Mobile does not own the copyright, trademarks, services marks or other marks of the Merchants. These marks are owned and registered by their respective owners.
