TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR PREPAID TO POSTPAID CAMPAIGN
1. This CNY Prepaid to Postpaid Campaign ("Campaign") is organised by U Mobile Sdn Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U) ("U Mobile") which will commence at on 5 February 2026 and will end on 5 March 2026 at 11.59 pm ("Campaign Period").
2. All entries received before or after the Campaign Period will be automatically disqualified.
3. By participating in this campaign, you agree to be bound by all terms relating to the relevant service description, our Fair Usage Policy, Privacy Notice, the relevant Plan and these additional terms and conditions (collectively, the "Terms") all of which are available on u.com.my and all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
4. We reserve the right to reject any participation or subscription at our sole and absolute discretion without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
5. Campaign Eligibility
a. This Campaign is open to selected eligible Active U Mobile subscribers only (Corporate account not included):
i. are Active principal line holders (“Active” means able to make and receive calls);
ii. are of age 18 years and above; and
iii. received an SMS from U Mobile (“Notification”); or received MyUMobile app push notification (“MyUMobile App”) for subscribers who have downloaded the MyUMobile App.
b. U Mobile’s employees, agencies, partners, and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in this Campaign.
c. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any entries or disqualify any participant without assigning any reason.
d. Participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have obtained the consent of their parents or guardians to participate in this Campaign.
6. Campaign Mechanics
a. To participate in this campaign, you must upgrade from your existing Prepaid Plan to U Postpaid 38 / U Postpaid Borneo 38 Plan during the campaign by
- replying to the SMS Notification(“Reply”) or
- clicking the ‘Take Up This Deal' button in the MyUMobile App (“Reply”) Exclusive Deal during the Campaign Period
b. By replying to the SMS Notification/ clicking the ‘Take Up This Deal’ button, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the Terms of service for:

c. If your upgrade is not successful due to any reasons after replying to the Notification, our system will automatically reattempt to upgrade you within the next 3 working days subject to your eligibility.
d. An SMS notification will be sent to you on the plan upgrade status. If the upgrade is successful, your Prepaid plan will be upgraded to U Postpaid 38 / U Postpaid Borneo 38 Plan instantly upon receipt of the “successful upgrade” status.
e. You are required to update your personal information through MyUMobile App to receive the first bill.
f. You are allowed to carry forward your Prepaid credit balance up to a maximum RM150 to the new Plan. The balance exceeding RM150 will be forfeited. Any remaining SMS, voice minutes and data allowance will be forfeited and any content subscription services in your Prepaid account will be automatically terminated. Only your direct carrier billing (DCB) service subscription will be carried forward to the new Plan. The 1-month Advance Access Fee for the Plan is waived and will be reflected in your first bill where you are normally required to pay 1 month Advance Access Fee and the current month’s charges.
7. Rewards
a. Subscribers who complete the requirements above will receive a guaranteed RM5 TnG voucher or Bill Rebate as stated in the “Notification” that you received. Additionally, the 888th subscribers who completed the requirements above will win an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
b. The TnG voucher or bill rebate will be credited to each unique subscriber who completes the requirements (one entitlement per subscriber) one (1) month after the campaign ends.
c. U Mobile will notify the eligible subscribers of their entitlement to receive the reward via SMS (“Reward Notification”). U Mobile may use any other method or medium it deems fit to notify the participants of their entitlement to receive the reward.
d. You must ensure that your U Postpaid 38 / U Postpaid Borneo 38 account is Active and has no overdue during the Campaign Period. “Active” means able to make and receive calls. Subscribers who upgrade/downgrade their Postpaid plan will no longer be eligible to enjoy the subsequent month reward.
e. The reward is given on “as is” basis. U Mobile reserves the right to substitute the reward with another reward of similar value at any time without prior notice.
f. The subscribers must ensure that their Postpaid account is Active and have no overdue bill during the Campaign Period and at the point of delivery or redemption of the rewards. “Active” means able to make and receive calls.

8. General
a. By upgrading to a Postpaid plan, subscribers agree to Minimum Usage Term of 90 days period that begins when Postpaid customer change their sim-only plan to current selling plans. During this period, customers are not allowed to perform downgrade or change to Prepaid.
b. We reserve the right to modify or otherwise change these Terms including terminating or suspending the Campaign. This overrides any requirement where we may have to give you notice in other parts of our agreement with you.
c. All upgrade / rebate are accepted entirely at the risk of the participants. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All participants and if the participants are below 18 years of age, their parents or guardians agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
d. By participating in the Campaign, all participants: -
(i) consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign.
(ii) consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
(iii) grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
e. The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Prepaid and Postpaid mobile services are subject to U Mobile’s standard Prepaid and Postpaid Terms and Conditions and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Prepaid and Postpaid Terms and Conditions will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
f. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
