1. This Postpaid Upsize Campaign ("Campaign") is organised by U Mobile Sdn Bhd ("U Mobile") and the campaign date will be stated in the notification that you have received through any form of communication channels. ("Campaign Period").
2. All entries received before or after the Campaign Period will be automatically disqualified.
3. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
4. Campaign Eligibility
1. This Campaign is open to selected U Mobile Postpaid plan subscribers only (Corporate account not included) who:
a. are Active principal line holders (“Active” means able to make and receive calls);
b. are of age 18 years and above; and
c. received an opt-in SMS from U Mobile (“Notification”); or received MyUMobile app push notification (“MyUMobile App”) for subscribers
who have downloaded the MyUMobile App.
2. U Mobile’s employees and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in this Campaigns
3. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any entries or disqualify any participant without assigning any reason
5. Campaign Mechanics
1. To participate in this Campaign, you must upsize your existing Postpaid rate plan during the Campaign Period by replying to the Notification or by clicking the ‘Take up this deal’ notification on the MyUMobile App (“Reply”).
a. This Campaign is not applicable to you if you downgrade your existing rate plan at any time during the Campaign Period.
b. You will be automatically subscribed to the Plan when we receive your Reply.
c. We will send an SMS notification to you once you are subscribed to the Plan.
d. When you complete steps listed in paragraph 5(a) above, you will be deemed to be a participant of the Campaign. No entry form is required.
1. All subscribers who complete the requirement of paragraph 5 above will receive a one-time reward as stated in the notification that participants received through any form of channels.
2. U Mobile will notify the eligible subscribers of their entitlement to receive the reward via SMS (“Reward Notification”). U Mobile may use any other method or medium it deems fit to notify the participants of their entitlement to receive the reward.
3. You must ensure that your Postpaid account is Active during the Campaign Period. “Active” means able to make and receive calls.
4. For clarity, each eligible subscriber will be eligible to receive 1 reward only during the Campaign Period.
5. The reward is given on “as is” basis. U Mobile reserves the right to substitute the reward with another reward of similar value at any time without prior notice.
1. U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Campaign are final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.
2. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions including terminating or suspending this Campaign and extending the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.
3. All rewards are accepted entirely at the risk of the participants. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All participants agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
4. By participating in the Campaign, all participants: -
a. consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign;
b. consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
c. grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
5. The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Postpaid mobile services are subject to U Mobile’s standard Postpaid Terms and Condition and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Postpaid Terms and Conditions, as the case may be, will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
6. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
