Terms and Conditions
1. All U Mobile Postpaid, Prepaid and Broadband subscribers (except WeChat Go plan subscribers) will receive the following free data and free calls from 1 July 2020 until further notice (“Offer Period”):
a. Free Data:
i. 1GB free high speed data which can be used for learning and productivity tools as well as most browsing needs, except for social media, video streaming, gaming and music streaming (“1GB Productivity Internet”); and
ii. Free unlimited high speed data to access local and federal government and health organization websites.
(collectively "Free Data").
b. Free calls to Crisis Preparedness & Response Centre (CPRC) hotline numbers (“Free Calls”).
2. The Free Data and Free Calls are provided according to the U Mobile Postpaid, Prepaid, U Broadband Postpaid and Prepaid Daily and Weekly Data Plans Terms and Conditions. You must comply with those terms and these additional terms and conditions (collectively, the "Terms") all of which are available on www.u.com.my.
3. We reserve the right to discontinue offering the Free Data or the Free Calls, modify or otherwise change the Terms.
Free Data
1. 1GB Productivity Internet
a. Effective from 26 November 2020, the 1GB Productivity Internet will be activated upon redemption by the subscribers daily at any time via SMS.
b. Upon successful activation, you can enjoy 1GB Productivity Internet access for 24 hours from the time of redemption. For example, if you have redeemed the 1GB Productivity Internet at 10:00 a.m, it will be valid until 9:59 a.m the following day. Upon expiry of the 24 hours period, you are required to redeem the 1GB Productivity Internet again.
c. Social media, video streaming, gaming and music streaming sites are not part of the Free Data. The excluded services are sites that are as listed below (“Excluded Services”):

i. Data usage for the Excluded Services will be consumed from other existing data packages that you have.
ii. The list of Excluded Services above is not exhaustive and is subject to U Mobile’s determination at its sole discretion.
2. Free unlimited high speed data (for local and federal government and health organization websites apps)
You can also enjoy free unlimited data to access the following websites and apps during the Offer Period without the need to perform any redemption:
a. Gerak Malaysia App, Mysejahtera and Mytrace Apps
b. Local government websites (federal and states government) and health organization websites:

3. You must ensure that your Prepaid or Postpaid account is Active during the Offer Period. “Active” means able to make and receive calls. Postpaid subscribers whose lines are suspended or barred will not be able enjoy the Free Data.
4. The Free Data can be used for mobile hotspot applicable only for the selected mobile apps and websites as specified above. For other usages, the data will be drawn from your other data packages. Any unused data will not be carried forward to the next day.
5. The Free Data is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash in full or in part and cannot be transferred to any other mobile number.
6. Any unused data will be forfeited upon Postpaid or Prepaid plan termination or after you have changed rate plan. Upon successful change of rate plan, you are required to perform redemption of the 1GB Productivity Internet again as set out in paragraph 1a (Free Data – 1GB Productivity Internet) above.
Data Service
1. With the Free Data, you will enjoy high speed data usage subject to the Terms.
2. U Mobile at its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right at any time without being liable to you to suspend or terminate the Free Data if you are found to be in violation of the Terms.
3. The Free Data is subject to network limitations and availability and device capability. Your actual download speed and data capacity will vary and may be slower and are affected but not limited, by your distance from our mobile tower, the capacity of our mobile tower, the source of your download, your handset type and quality, the general Internet traffic and coverage availability.

1. You can enjoy free calls to the following Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) hotline numbers in Malaysia during the Offer Period:
