  1. This  U Home 5G X sooka VIP Giveaway Campaign (“Campaign”) is organised by U Mobile Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No: 199101013657 (223969-U) (“U Mobile”) which commences at 00:00:00 on 27 November 2023 and ends at 23:59:59 on 31 January 2024 (“Campaign Period”).
  2. The Campaign Period consists of two sections:

  1. All entries received outside the Campaign Period will be automatically disqualified.
  2. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
  3. Campaign Eligibility
    1. The Campaign is open to new and existing U Home 5G subscribers who are:
      1. at least 18 years of age; and
      2. Malaysians or permanent residents of Malaysia.
    2. U Mobile’s employees, agencies, partners and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in this Campaign.
    3. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any entries or disqualify participants without assigning any reason.
  4. Campaign Mechanics
    1. To participate in and qualify for this Campaign, you are required to:
      1. Subscribe to U Home 5G. If you are an existing U Home 5G subscriber, you may proceed with the next step in paragraph 6(a)(ii).
      2. Register at u.com.my/sookaVIP and fill up the required information within the ROI Period.
      3. Download and use your MyUMobile App to upgrade your U Home 5G plan to U Home 5G X sooka VIP plan within the Activation Period.
  5. Prizes
    1. A total of 10 eligible participants will be shortlisted based on every 3rd registration during the ROI Period.
    2. The shortlisted participants will be contacted and required to answer one (1) question related to U Home 5G X sooka VIP correctly. If the question is not answered correctly after two (2) attempts; OR if U Mobile is unable to contact the winner after three (3) voice call attempts, the winner will be disqualified and the next participant in line will be contacted. If the participant is disabled and unable to answer the question verbally, a legal guardian or representative may assist to reply to the question posed.
    3. Winner selection will be conducted within 30 days after the end of the Campaign Period. Up to ten (10) winners will each receive:
      1. One (1) unit Samsung Smart TV UA75CU7100KXXM UHD; and
      2. One (1) unit ZTE MC801A 5G router
    4. U Mobile will notify the winners of their entitlement to receive the prize via phone call or SMS or other method or medium it deems fit to notify the participants of their entitlement to receive the prizes. The prizes may be given out as follows (subject to U Mobile’s sole discretion):
      1. The winner is required to provide a valid delivery address for the delivery of the prize. Failure to provide a valid delivery address after two (2) times of attempted delivery arrangement will result in the forfeiture of the prize. Any winner whose prize has been forfeited shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation. U Mobile may at its discretion revise the prize delivery arrangement.
      2. The winner’s failure to provide the required details or information will result in the forfeiture of the prizes.
      3. The prizes will be delivered to you within one (1) month from the date of notification by U Mobile. There will be a photo taking session during the delivery of the prizes.
    5. Participants must ensure that their U Mobile accounts remains active throughout the Campaign Period and until the issuance of prizes. “Active” means your subscription to U Home 5G X sooka VIP is ongoing, with no outstanding amount due and is not barred or suspended.
    6. Participant are entitled to submit multiple entries (with different bundle subscription) throughout the Campaign Period. However, each participant is only entitled to win one (1) prize throughout the Campaign Period.
    7. U Mobile reserves the right at its sole discretion to reschedule any prize issuance without prior notice. The winners’ names, images or photographs may be published on U Mobile’s website or any other method of communications U Mobile deems appropriate. Any prizes shown on U Mobile’s website, U Mobile’s social media pages, advertisements and Campaign materials are for photography or illustration purposes only.
    8. The prizes are given on “As Is” and “As Available” basis without express or implied warranty and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, credit or rebate in full or in part. U Mobile reserves the right to substitute the prizes with another prize of similar value at any time without prior notice.
  6. General
    1. U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Campaign are final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.
    2. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions including terminating or suspending this Campaign and extending the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is the participants’ responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if the participants do not agree to any of the changes, such participants must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.
    3. All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the participants. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign.  All participants agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
    4. By participating in the Campaign, all participants:
      1. consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign; and
      2. consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
      3. grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
    5. The subscription and use of U Home 5G services are subject to the standard U Home 5G Terms and Conditions and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the U Home 5G Terms and Conditions will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
    6. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
    7. In the event of any conflict between the English and other language versions, the English version shall prevail.
